    Wee caddis should get more of a chance, i think he is just as good as hinkel defensivley and better than him going forward.

    I know dude - apologies! Didn't even look at the originator of the thread!

    On a differing note, i really do think Loovens is the best we have. I'm happier with LEFT back than right back at present (and bearing in mind that means Naylor you will understand my concern), McManus is workmanlike, and Caldwell - who had been excellent for a decent amount of time now - is still a cart horse who will get found out, sadly...one "blunder" away from reverting to his customary pishness. Thank the Lord for Boruc!

    All this "private life" nonsense coupled with the Poland National team issues seemed to have clouded him a bit of late...

    Still though, over time he is simply immense and it's been at least a week since he's been in the papers - so fingers crossed he knuckles down and gets on with what he's best at; being one of the best keepers in the world.

    2008 has been the year of the Caldwell in the Chinese calendar!

    I've rated him in both an attacking and defensive sense for a while, i'm glad he's sustained his form long enough for the fans to universally praise him!
