dunno of this has already been posted but...

if he can "play on the left" and he can "play on the right"

why doesnt strach put him on the right

i agree with strach by playing maloney at left after his amazing comeback and the amazing quality he has now but he cant leave such a good player like mcgeady off he should surely drop naka for mcgeady at right..imo

But because he doesnt who should be at left

    shaun or aiden

personally I see Maloney as a first pick for one of the wide berths with Naka and Aidan fighting for the other. That purely based on form and on end product. On paper I love the 4-4-1-1 that has all three on with just Samaras up front. I know that team lost to Rangers but I dont think that had much to do with it and I would give it a go again v Aberdeen.

The now its Maloney first pick but Mcgeady back on form like he done in the champs league a few times and most of last season then no question its him :50:

Really hard trying to decide on this one, at this minute you can't drop Maloney as he has done the business in the last few games but if he were to get dropped at the weekend am certain Aiden would come in and blow everyone away with a dazzling performance.

For these reasons am refusing to vote :icon_mrgreen:

personally though, i think Maloney is far better than McGeady, just MO though.

just think he is far more creative, more end product, not as greedy, and gets his head up and actually looks where he's running too, mcgeady gets the ball and just runs to the byline, turns back, but miscontrols when turning back, and the ball rolls out for a goal kick.

    happens constantly.

    Bit lightweight dude....
Especially bearing in mind the current climate with Naka looking to leave - at best here till the end of the season - then it may well be the time to investigate our othe options - see just how well McGeady and Maloney can play together while maintaining a middle 2 (Crosas and Brown for me with Robson on the bench and rotation policy in place) that does not disappear from games in the fashion that Naka does all too often.

Right now Maloney, once Aiden gets his form back no question McGeady.

Probably is a bit lightweight, but all 4 of them are defenders nightmares, we would score plenty, i would only change it for European games and rangers games, other than that, that midfield would probably get us by and score plenty of goals.

for european and OF games i would go with,,, McGeady Nakamura Hartley/Robson Maloney.

robson or hartley really, both are hard workers, i'd also have scott brown in the middle, the middle of his couch watching the game on tv that is.

Ha - really not a fan of Broony are you mate?! I'm personally very interested to see how he goes over the next few weeks...i'm certain Strachan will be sticking by him, and i hope we are all pleasantly surprised. Having Crosas next to him has improved him vastly - almost as if he knows WHAT he's meant to be doing and WHEN too as opposed to the headless chicken we've all been watching for the last year or so...

Good point mate, since crosas has been starting, brown has looked better, and looks more promising.

but i'd much rather have robson or McGeady starting in his place.

McGeady is the better footballer for me.

At this moment in time we're getting a more fruitful return from Maloney though, people will have their own opinions as to why that is!

-1 for me, sadly - midfield got walked through against the Huns and was IMO the main contributary factor to us getting a doing. The 3 of them together is powder puff for the physical demands of the SPL.
