The penalty too, first one was a penalty.

our 2nd was very very harsh, and kilmarnocks was debatable.

tbh I think the Killie one was a definite penalty. Caldwell had his hands above his head so he really has no complaints. It was great to see that fight in Caldwell. Desperate not to lose a goal even though we where 3-0 up.

great performance from Gary today, long may it continue.:50:

Agreed mate, thought at the time it was a penalty, didn't need to put his hands up.

but the one thing i would say is, he couldn't get them out of the way, it wasn't an intentional hand ball, but his hands shouldn't have been there, and they stopped a goal, so probably fair decision tbh, red card was a bit harsh though, considering the scoreline, and the clock.

What was the story in the paper?

I thought he had an alright game.
A couple of decisions were strange but that's about it.

I think the right calls would have been

Naka.... no penalty, red card to the jackass. A bit shocking that he didn't get carded at all.
Caldwell... penalty, yellow card for unintentional handball.

Overall, not bad for a McCurry game though...

Went on throughout most of the game. It became embarrassing after a while. Celtic fans have a reputation for banter and humour. This was neither.

Allow me to enlighten you on the rules.

Naka. Matter of debate re penalty but you're spot on re Red card fro the slap.

Caldwell cannot be given anything other than a Red card as he stopped a goalscoring opportunity, you cannot say it was unintentional handball because no such offence exists. His arms were above his head, stonewall penalty and ordering off.

There are seven offences for which a player can be yellow carded, this offence went way beyond them!:86:
