If it was school with teachers and jobs with bosses then aye, easier way, if it was anyone in the street etc then no.

I hate being spoke down to but sadly it does happen from time to time in my job.Usually by some wee * trying to big himself up.I just put it behind me and think to myself what I,d do if he spoke to me like that in the pub

On another note ,I have a mate who is the same as you

One time the he clocked about four tv licence vans in the middle of a car park ,the crazy bassa started driving in circle round them whilst making a mad growling noise

Become the best at what you do and then gain the respect of those who make the decisions, once you do that you can treat idiots with complete disrespect and those people will back you to the hilt. It's all one big feckin game, you just need to know how to play it.:50:

    Good thread mate.:50:

In jobs, sometimes you have to grin and bear it, but we've all got our breaking point's.

Once shot the contents of a fire extinguisher over an ex-boss ruined all the electrical equipment in the proccess, last time I saw him.

In general if an individual has earnt respect then you will bend over backwards for that person. If they abuse their authority then I have no time for folk like that, they deserve everything that comes their way IMO.

I couldn't handle it either, hated doing a job knowing there was a better way. Lasted about 2 years in each job then bagged.
The way i dealt with it was started a wee business, didn't think i had it in me, but found it wasn't the taboo i made it in my mind.
8 years later and i'm still going, maybe thats a route you could look at Matt.

If i could give you any advice pm me :50:

I find people with a childish hate of all authority and rules 'nae cnts teelin me what to do' etc pretty annoying. Its alright when you are 16 but its pretty silly looking when you are 30 or 40. Sort of people are a nighmare on the road - think ruiles and speed limits dont apply and park in disabled spaces etc. People who dont like the enforcement of rules or laws are usually breaking them or have something to hide.
