Didn’t say anything about him starting at the weekend, tonight though he would of done no worse than Ralston.

Aye so unprofessional that we don’t even give youth a * chance after 1 bad game, boy was solid vs Strum Graz.

 

Have defended him a fair bit, but that was really bad tonight. We need a back up LB who is capable of defending in Europe.

Only thing to say in his defense is that he could have been reeling a bit after getting skelped in the face with the ball. But of a stretch that though.

 

Pretty sure the brick wall would run past Ralston at this point

Cannot believe no one in recruitment over the summer thought 'you know what, if Alistair Johnston gets injured for any length of time, we're going to have to rely on Anthony Ralston, do we think that'll be a problem?'

Either that or they're so * incompetent that they asked the question and agreed that the answer was 'no'.

He wasn't no. Plenty of mistakes. But that's fine for a player developing where it doesn't have a negative consequence. It's good he got that experience and we won. He's got lots of years to get better. Don't push him too far, too soon.

 

In fairness that’s like comparing apples with oranges. They had nothing at all other than beasts who were a handful at set pieces. That winger would’ve terrorised Donovan tonight. Having said all that, Donovan isn’t a downgrade on Ralston but it protected him not playing tonight at least.

 

Thought Sarrachi can play rb ? Can he play both positions at once ?

 

Can't really knock the guy as his attitude is top class but ultimately we're relying on a backup player to do 3 games a week. Mistakes are gonna be made and lack of quality are gonna be exposed at that rate.

Need AJ back (and properly fit) pronto.

I've said this for a few players, it’s not his fault he's not good enough it's down to the board not giving us better options. If they were serious about building something they would have signed AJ and kept JJ so they could compete for the RB slot. They didn't, they sold JJ and said Tony Ralston will do for back-up. It all comes back to the fact the directors have no desire to push this club to be the best it can be and anyone who tells you they have is either deluded or a liar.

 

Seriously wonder if that hit to the head in the first half did him more damage than realised, he was miles off it afterwards.

 

An awful player with no sense of how to stay by a man. Shipped in countless goals from Scotland NT and celtic... should be nowhere near this team. I don't understand why he doesnt tackle the player for the first two goals? Or even close him down.
