New manager

We've been schooled by plenty * in Europe over the last couple decades so wouldn't use that as a barometer, especially under Ange's suicide tactics in Europe

Ajax have had a host of * managers for a while too

I'm not debating what he's done in Norway, it's incredible, just voicing my concerns about Knutsen being able to translate that abroad under a squad that isn't 95% Norwegian, all other Norwegian managers haven't been able to make a mark outside Scandinavia, taking a risk to expect Knutsen to buck that trend with us

Been that much happened since Sunday. Where did the rumour come from about December, waiting on someone becoming available ? Think that killed a lot of the talk for now, well obviously that, the way MON and Maloney have started and all the debates since Sunday about ref decisions.

Ya, agreed - little or nothing. And, of course, the more results we get under MON/SM, the more likely the board will decide to keep them on.

 

Maybe a good thing with the prior comment about it being December before anyone is appointed.

Narrows it down to Bellamy, Knutsen and Muscat, would be happy with Muscat or Knutsen, dont want Bellamy.

Should be pointed out that it’s Tam Cowan saying Gordon made this claim allegedly

 

I'm starting to warm to the idea of Muscat. Don't care about the Ex Hun, that's neither here nor there.

And he would be available mid/late December. Would allow Mon & Sean a crack at the Cup Final.

 

We're a cup final win away from Desmond storming into the showers and offering MON the job full time

Gordon could be doing Desmond's bidding by throwing some disinformation around. Gives the board some breathing space to get the man they really want. Poor wee Tam Cowan fell for it.

 

Knutsen lost again tonight, just as he did at the weekend, maybe Bodo players know Knutsen is off and it's affecting performances

Or, MON to stay until the end of the season with Clarke taking over next Summer after the WC
