Hahaha, MON joking about looking like Robin Hood with the tight trousers on Wednesday, thought exactly the same, he looked like out of Mel Brooks' parody Robin Hood: Men in Tights :giggle1:

I get that. I just think it's more than just that. Look at that team talk at half-time of extra time. Look at the body language. Maloney is in charge of that team IMO and MON is there as a motivator, a figurehead and to deal with the media. He's done all of that brilliantly; but he's not really in charge IMHO.

People were talking about aura earlier on.

There is no one who demands aura like Martin O’Neil. He’s absolutely not the right man for the job long term and the club do need to find a long term successor but the man is the absolute definition of a man manager.

Well done Shaun Maloney, too. Clearly the man who’s coaching the players.

Should MON have some kind of role until End of season. Beautiful Sundays has been a while.

Definitely they'll look for the easiest way out for them.

But as fans we really need to keep the pressure up to finally see some change. Desmonds statemant says he'll not look for that. Thankfully, it looks like Martin knows his skills and forces them to not go the easy route.

Yep. Rodgers did the right thing stepping down, the board would never have sacked him. They did the same with Lennon when he should have stepped down the spineless * of the board left him there to take the flak for them as long as possible. Lennon stuck aroubd and took the money and he's back now licking Lawwell's hole again. An absolute * of a man.

Delighted for MON and for players like Engels, Maeda and Trusty a new lease of life for them. Nothing changes as regards the need for Lawwell and co. to get out and to bring their * way of operating the club with them.

MON is such a breath of fresh air and the tactics/team selection from Shaun, using our pace at the top end instead of just passing between the defence.

There is definitely a fragility in the side that needs sorted in January but if we can build momentum now I’m confident we’ll cut the gap or even be top of the league before then.

I’d say we were comfortably the better team over the course of the game and 1-3 flattered them.
That was without Johnston, CCV, a RW and I guess you could argue a forward

Absolutely we could and should have done them 4-0 it reminded me of that final we gubbed them 4-0 with the way we were dominating them first half we just weren't finishing things off.

We done it the hard way in the end
