He isn’t good enough. None of our current strikers are however.

How he got a new 4 year contract is beyond me . Want the lad to do well obviously but is miles away from being a celtic class striker , whatever that means these days .

He is a trier but he has had enough chances that I hope we give Shin a run. We need a bit of a hail mary now, just someone who might suprise us and offer something different, and it isnt going to be Kenny.

He is another one who is an honest guy giving it 100% but is miles off what we need

Tried to be positive about him, and Kelechi for that matter, but I'm done lying to myself now.

It had gotten to the point where I was giving players plaudits because they were trying in games, making runs and being full of energy. May as well send 11 bordie collies out if that's gonna be the standard going forward.

The sooner we're not in a debate about whether we start Iheanacho or Kenny the better.

    Entire club is rotten.

A contract for another 4 years. Let that sink in.

What a complete mess of a club we are.

Honest pro, but let's all be honest here.. he's a Raith Rovers level striker.

How in *'s earth has this * guy managed to blag his way into our starting 11.

I grew up with Larsson, Viduka, Sutton, Hartson, Bellamy etc as our strikers.

What the * has happened to us.

In fairness, that was never because he was seen as our number 1 or even number 2 striker. It was to ensure we got a couple quid for him, which we still would for a guy in Ireland squads with European experience.

A 2 year deal would do the trick if we’re that desperate. 4 is mental.

Realistically what would we be getting for him anyway? Can’t cut it in the Scottish Premiership. Be very lucky to get £500k for him.

There’s never been a debate between Iheanacho and Kenny. One is far better.

I only saw the first half but watched the highlights now. Genuinely can’t remember him touching the ball in the first half, assume it didn’t get any better in the second?

We got offered £500k from Bolton and knocked it back, reportedly bcoz we wanted £1m.

It's funny how highly we value * players yet won't pay going rate for players we want.

For example, we wouldn't pay the same fee for Breum as we want for Stephen Welsh

Upwards of a million quid from an English championship/League 1 side no problem at all.

There is no desperation, just sound business sense. It’s not Kenny’s fault he’s somehow ended up our main striker, it’s been one helluva set of circumstances transpiring at the 1 time. He was never going to be at Celtic for 4 years and definitely won’t be.

He’s just no good enough. No his fault either regarding giving it a go but he’s a LOI player and nothing more

Magnificent half for him there, two proper strikers goals. Exactly what we're needing.
