Is my guess, be interesting to find out and see what they are thinking formation wise.

Think in this game we should persist with Donovan but have McGregor in a midfield 2 to give him more protection. I can see why O'Neill would fancy Ralston's physicality and experience though.

He talked about physicality at his presser, so I'm expecting:

    Schmeichel
    Ralston Trusty Scales KT
    McGregor Engels
    Balikwisha Nygren Tounekti
    Kenny
I'd personally have Shin up top, and maybe McCowan in the middle, but I think given Engels and Nygren's height he'll go with them, plus Engels delivery on set pieces. Kenny as a tall Irish striker is a nailed on starter imo.

According to transfermarkt, Maloney plays a 4-2-3-1 .... if that's what he done at Hibs and Wigan then that's what you would expect tonight. He's not going to tinker about too much but that snall tweak is the one a lot of folk have been calling for, so we'll see how it goes if that's the case.

Also, it will be interesting to see if the players up their game or if it's the same laboured dross we've been served up for months. The selection itself will also be interesting. Will Inamura make an appearance ... will Shin get a start ...

I just want MON the be "brave" and change things up. Go with Nygren at CAM, Tounekti at RW and Balikwisha at LW. Something different.

Even give Pusey his debut. Start with Yamada.

He could also put Reo Hatate on a plane to Japan

Too many caretaker managers play it safe and keep the team / formation the same these days.

I’d be confident that MON and Maloney have watched enough of Celtic this season to know 433 and side to side passing isn’t working. So why not tweak it? Professional footballs should be able to consume info and apply it with short notice.

From a personnel perspective, all senior players who are fit will play.
    Schmeichel

    Ralston Trusty Scales KT

    Forrest Engels McGregor Tounetki

    Hatate
    Maeda

We need maeda for Sunday. If we cant beat Falkirk without maeda we are worse than I thought. Give yamada his chance NOW

I said "if he was fit and ready" nothing about risking Maeda.

We simply need to win this. I don't care how we need 3 points. There is no excuses even if my post woman was the manager for the game this team should be beating Falkirk at home. Preferably want Martin to play Forrest on the right wing and put Nygren back into midfield. I want to start Shin but think he will go with Kenny. I think we should put Donovan back in he was not great against Hearts but he is young and he will only get better by playing and I think he has something about him and could become a very good player. Martin and Maloney are not going to make too many drastic changes they have been brought in way too close to the game for that. Wouldn't mind seeing Bernardo also it is shocking how Rodgers has treated him. If we get in front comfortably which is a huge if I would like to see us bring Murray on in my view Rodgers was unfair putting him in that game against Hearts and Rodgers only did this to prove a point. Murray will be a good player but he was clearly anxious and after he made the mistake for the OG this just intensified.

St Mirren can be difficult to break down on their day it's certainly not a given for Hearts. Think teams will start using similar tactics to what they do against us with Hearts and putting everyone behind the ball which may provide them with different problems than they are accustomed to.

Bernardo and Trusty are the 2 for me that should start tonight and who have a big opportunity now to show they can become important players for us. They both have shown it in flashes before but not consistently. Lets hope they both really step up and grab this opportunity.
