Muscat is on the list. But I think I would prefer Hayen now. McKenna, I'm not so sure.

We will just have to go through the list and see who wants it the most.

I'd would love an attack minded manager who, as a bonus, would also have a better knowledge of players across Europe (unlike our so called scouting system) and could go for them in January.

I think Muscat would be very successful with us, still got a core of Ange’s team here that know how to play the system. I want exciting football back, none of the sideways bore teams to death style.

 

Lets be honest here, Desmond is man who's going to be the main force behind the new manager. Its glaringly obvious after his hit piece on Brendan. So manager will be Irish or Catholic or both. Anyone seriously thinking we have a chance of Knutsen or Hayen are living in a fantasy world. Miles out of our reach. More chance of Klopp and those chances are zero. Be prepared for an underwhelming name with Maloney as his assistant. We're already assembling his back room staff as we speak.

 

We can stop caring about possession. Players could get told to hoof it if nothing better is available.

 

Ange - not for me. If it was immediately after the summer then yes but I fear he’s going to be carrying some baggage after two sackings and if he doesn’t get off to a good start, people will quickly say ‘we should never have went back the way’.

Not tactically flexible either and we need that if we want to become a regular participant of CL / progress to latter stages of EL.

With that said though, I’m not entirely sure who I want. Don’t know enough about any of the options to have a valid opinion.

Rose has experience.
McKenna bags of potential and ambition.
Bellamy is fierce, wont accept bad standards and knows the club / league.

It’s an interesting list whatever way you look at it.

Whoever comes in, their success will be dictated by the level of spend and backing they get in the Jan window.

 

I would honestly be all for Muscat.

 

It might come down to Muscat. Wait a few week for him, keep the Mon & Maloney team there.

He certainly would take no * from anyone, and would be able to stand up the to goldfish bowl pressure of managing Celtic.

 

His teams also cant defend. State of our defence at the minute as it is

 

Edin terzic is free without a club . Demanding and forward thinking young manager. He has shown to be successful in his style of play. PLEASE CELTIC LOOK AT HIM FFS
