Martin O’Neill returns to Celtic as interim manager alongside Shaun Maloney

Surely they won’t try and back door Maloney in.

Do people really think they won’t approach Ange?

Would Maloney even want the job? Given the toxicity and target on his back?

I’m just catching up but I feel like Martin is there as manager for the next week or two, but Maloney will do the legwork for him.

Maybe I’m deluded but I feel like Ange is lined up for this. I can’t imagine they won’t go back in for him to continue where they left off.

I’m all for bashing the board (* them) but I think this is a good interim appointment assuming someone comes in right away. If they do go for Ange they could literally only be here for Wednesday night.

If it goes on for weeks and weeks it’s ridiculous but given the circumstances I think it’s fine.

The statement suggests to me they have no intention of these two being in charge for long.
