I honestly think hes been sacked. Or he just managed to get in there before the daggers came out from under the togas.

    - It was a humiliating defeat from Hearts, a victory against them doesn't see him "resign", also less than 24 hours after such a loss. As well as the failure to reach the CL.

    - The MoN/ Maloney caretaker team was obviously in place BEFORE Rodgers left the building. MoN on talksport tipping Hearts is classic demonizing of opps. He just didn't expect the call so quickly imo.

    - Its no coincidence that Lawell lacky Lennon went on SkySports and savaged Rodgers; text book coup tactics, polarising opposition etc

    - Although Desmonds statement looks reactionary, if he publicly sacked Rodgers, the need for the statement is negated. It allows him to get Rodgers out, throw his tantrum, and launch a defence of the BoD.

    - kennedy leaving is also an indicator for me. I think he was on the chopping block too. He's seen this board * over multiple managers and has always blended in with the furniture. It makes zero sense for him to quit out of loyalty or frustration. His entire life has been this job, his home, his family etc. He's not some nomad manager.

Totally. If his statement was in any way true Kennedy would still be here. The fact that Kennedy has gone with Brendan speaks volumes.

    Yeah.

I know the fans have a very love/hate relationship with Brendan but the GB and Bhoys need to have a * massive banner supporting him tomorrow. Something. It needs paraded across social media to show these * rats that we are believing none of it.

It suggests to me that he was getting sacked, and jumped before he was pushed.

All of a sudden Kennedy grows a backbone?

Hes seen multiple managers * over, not moved an inch. He was offered Leicester with Rodgers. Nope. Spurs with Ange. Nope.

He was getting binned i think.

But Dd's statement is still a * disgrace.

With Rodgers, actions speak louder than words and he clearly didn't trust a lot of the new signings. Nor was this the first time. Remember that first window that was just as bad as this recent one and Rodgers didn't want to play most of the signings that were made with his uhum, "full knowledge, approval and endorsement".

Rodgers is gone, fine; but the board can't be allowed to scapegoat him. The pressure needs to be kept up.

Mate, sometimes in life you have to be fucken ruthless.

When some * is self sabotaging your best interests, you have no other choice.

It does not matter if they are a big shot or not.

Why would he walk away from £3m? They wouldn’t have sacked him. They would have let it carry on until the summer.

Rodgers can afford not to take the payoff and the guarantees of a job.

I doubt Kennedy could. It’s definitely not a good look that the man the club have kept in position for nearly 12 years has left alongside the manager, the same manager he turned down 7 years ago when he went to Leicester.

The summer window was self sabotage. DD didn’t care then.

We really don't know what happened. Rodgers has been * poor as a manager this season. If there's reasons for that I'd like to know.

Quite happy to blame the board but still plenty to know.

    * that!

The banners need to continue to attack Desmond.

Making a martyr out Rodgers only whitewashes his part of the shambles we're in.

    They ALL have to go.

He had £26M of talent at his disposal, and he still couln't beat the mighty Kairat.

    Don't give me that *.

    Simply because of his reputation.

Sacked by Celtic? He'd never see another club past championship level again. He can spin walking away. He cant spin being sacked.

You just wonder if Rodgers has another job already lined up and he's taking JK with him.

They wouldn’t have sacked him. They don’t spend money on players, never mind sacking managers. They don’t care enough for that either. Look what happened with Lennon during the Covid season.

You’ve had an issue with Rodgers since he came back.

No one is white washing anything. The club were right to make a change, in my opinion. The * charlatan who acts like he owns us had absolutely no right to assassinate his character publicly and embarrass the club. This is Desmond vs Rodgers and Desmond expects us to believe his pish.

Apparently done an interview with McGowan. Would explain Desmond trying to brainwash the support.
