Brendan could still be the biggest player in the movement to get these * out.

If he does it right, he can tear them apart and end them.

    I'm torn..

I think his head ultimately was gone after Lawwell went against him and the board didn't back him, ultimately * him over in every way possible..

The players look like they'd chucked it under him and Rodgers had checked out somewhat..

Though a part of me did still think if anyone was gonna turn this around it was him. An ultimate Celtic winner..

He's been so badly done by those above. If they weren't gonna back him after what we achieved last year and our finances and big player sales then no one coming in will..

I don't know what to say. MON was on talksport earlier backing the diets for the league. Then rocks up. Does that mean he didn't even know then?

Hopefully we get some sort of bounce..

That structure needs modernising. We're so late to act on anything it's * sickening. The fact we have multiple clubs and agents or players saying how bad we are suggests we're the * problem in signing players. We only ever act when everything is on fire. Never before.

If we all wanted to continue domestic and European success, why do we never push on when we're in a position of strength? We always downgrade. How come we have club officials say that progress in Europe is a pipe dream, even when our rivals get to a europa league final? How come we always wait until after the qualifiers are finished before buying anyone?

If every pound is reinvested, why do we have a * ocean of cash reserves?

    * off, Desmond you *.

The abuse the board are getting is completely understandable.

    *.

Gutted to be honest, as much I as feel the board are scapegoating him I see some possible truths in this too. Time will tell if our windows improve with him gone but I have a feeling not much will change. Even without Rodgers comments our fans are not dumb and can see we have absolutely failed with our recruitment structure and board communication.

I will still hold Rodgers in high regard and thank him for playing his part in our success.

That statement, * *. I think Rodgers is a pathological liar and I still don't trust a word Dermot says there. Rather see the back of both of them at this stage.

100% Jeannie, they've gone all in because now they feel safe to do so. Rodgers will have agreed to keep quiet so DD can get away with it.

    Ridiculous, theatrical stuff.

I knew straight away when Rodgers started the public criticism that it was the end of the line, and said it at the time. He should have resigned in the summer and saved his reputation, it was never ever going to work at that point.

Relieved they've made the collective decision before it's too late.

Guess things will come a little clearer in the next few day,but Rodgers had to go think the majority agree with that.
For me its the news the other teams didnt want to hear, they new under Rodgers we were a broken team and now with him gone things may change.

As for that statement, not sure if its genuine but if it is its a disgrace but it does show that the relationship between them was not a good one and one of them was filling us with * when it came to what was going on in the club.

Anyway its onwards and upwards and leats hope Wednesday is the start of our recovery.

    Poor from Desmond.

Rodgers did nothing but speak highly of him even when supporters were at their wits end with him. Rodgers constantly defended him and spoke up the importance of their relationship.

And that’s how he treats him.

Think we know who the real rat is here
