why are there wingers who cant play on the fu*king wing i believe if this boy played the way he has for us at his old club he wouldn't even start a game for them

 

I get that he's probably still settling in but he needs to be showing more.

Heard loads of folk speculate on which position they think he'll be good in.

I find that quite concerning for a guy who cost over 5 million quid.

If he is a left winger, why the * are we signing two left wingers for over 10 million quid, when we have a very reliable Maeda who's very rarely injured (albeit he's injured just now) and Jota who will be back in the next month or two.

It's no good enough. Unless he is the next Claude Makalele and he will be our captain's successor then fair doos.

I think this fella will end up getting loaned out to some obscure Belgian team next summer and then we will never see him again.

What little I have seen of him he seems not to be a winger. Would start him midweek in Reos position left sided midfield. He seems to have a pass in him.

 

Bcoz the plan was to sell Maeda on the last day of the window.

Rodgers is on record saying thats why we brought in 2 left wingers

 

Not saying we should have signed Balikwisha but we bought two left wingers because Maeda was meant to be off but we got the chance to offload Idah and the Board decided to take it.

At the same time we botched all our striker deals and ended up having to keep Daizen even though he wanted to leave.

 

Just don’t know why we chased him for nearly 18 months to 2 years.

Any praise I've seen for him has been clutching at straws.
A 5 million pound winger that can't beat a man and passes it back at every occasion.

 

Add to that the fact that we’ve less right-wingers than a Bob Vylan gig.

 

Need to start signing wingers that can operate on both sides man.

That you literally can’t play a £5m winger in Scottish football because he can only make any sort of impact down one side isn’t on.

Even if we had plenty of natural right wingers, you need adaptability at Celtic as a winger. Especially when breaking teams down

 

If they dont cost £5m Rodgers takes the huff and wont play them anyway.

Boy deserves a chance, not as if we are going to disrupt a fluent side. He does seem to have a pass in him, defiantly not a winger that will skin the full back. I would start him in midfield midweek, not as if any of them are currently covering themselves in glory right now.

 

I get what you’re saying but in all honesty I think he’d be steamrolled in the centre. Maybe playing just behind the striker, perhaps? Or maybe he’s just a total waste of time.

 

Engels and balikwisha is enough evidence the head of recruitment needs sacked and how many decent players have we really brought in over the last two seasons.
