I hope he quits and does a broadside at the board. It's obvious he's been * off this whole season.

He and we have been let down by those who run the club. That is beyond dispute(except by them). But the fact remains that Rodgers has done nothing to help stop the rot. Selecting the same out-of-form players, playing the same tired formation and sticking with the same tactics that have held us back for a while. He is a big part of the problem now unfortunately and there is no sign that that is about to change anytime soon.

Nicholson, Lawwell, Desmond all need to go and take Brendan with them done the fans over too many times. It’s a club for the fans not for the three.

He's been Brendan Fraudgers/Frodgers this season and enough is enough

We sacked Barnes too late in February, league season was gone, we sacked Mowbray too late in March, league season was gone, we sacked Lennon too late in February, league season was gone

We cannot allow Brendan another week in charge nevermind another 4 or 5 months, the shower of * at board room level need to take action NOW and for once learn from past mistakes in sacking the manager far too late, stop letting history repeat itself over and over and over

Take action now before it's too late again, NOW

    He needs to leave now

This isn't kneejerk,it's the only rational course of action

We'll be lucky to finish 3rd.This is covid 2.0

He can't get performances out of these players. Please leave while there is possibly something to salvage from the season

It’s a hoax and you’re lapping it up. This is great for the board, take the pressure away. Who’s going to take action on the “* in the boardroom”

Why don’t we get rid of the elite level manager who serves us trophy after trophy after the Boards pitiful attempt at backing him resulting in the worst back 4 and front 3 this century.

    Redirect your anger.

    As you were.

My anger is towards both mate, short term Brendan needs punted and medium to longer term those on the board need cleaned out too

Definitely not the worst back four this century though, Johnston, CCV, Trusty and KT when all fit and on song is a very good back four

He shoulda had it in his contract in some way to have board meddling to a minimum with transfers etc since he * knew what it was like last time.

Yer man Rodgers told us that the board bleed green and white. He also is the guy picking Hatate every game despite 0/10 performances, freezing out the likes of Inamura and Shin despite needing freshness in the team, and publicly chucking the players under the bus to protect his own reputation.

Not sure why you're taking such offence at him getting blamed for his share in this mess. Both him and the board are making a rip roaring * of it.

Btw elite managers don't get sacked off Leicester when in the relegation zone, or schooled off Kazakh farmers, Barry Ferguson or Jimmy Thelin.

'Sack the board and the manager'

Only one those is ever going to happen as a direct result you're entrusting the other to find his successor.

In real danger of doing a Lennon here. You say you’ve always supported the club Brendan? Then do the right thing.

An "elite" manager wouldn't leave an experienced CB on the bench and plah a kid that's nowhere near good enough. Says he needed balance in the CB areas, literally played Trusty and Scales together against Atalanta last season and produced a great defensive display.

He's done here. Needs to go ASAP.

Such a revisionism. I can tell you right now that Inamura and Shin aren’t anywhere near good enough. Where do you want to go from there on that point?

    Agreed on Hatate.

He’s not chucked a single player under the bus. In fact, he has been incredibly controlled in every interview and interaction to NOT do that. He as well as most folk know the standard of player like Kenny, Murray, Donovan, Scales, a finished Tierney, Nygren at right wing and flatters to deceive Tounettki aren’t good enough for the respective positions. I’ll give some discretion to Tounekti to see what may be possible.

Who’s your pick to replace him then? Pick carefully before I list their respective flaws :giggle1:

Trophy after trophy. CL after CL. Elite manager as far as Celtic can get.

    As you were

One of the key considerations now is around January. If we want to win the league we will need strong recruitment there and dipping into the cash reserves. At this point with the team misfiring and fans growing increasingly frustrated - it might spook the board enough to actually spend.

If thats the case then, is Rodgers the right person in the charge of that to give us the best fighting chance? If hes off a few months later and hes very particular about the players he wants then thats not a great scenario for getting in players. The board need to make a decision as to whether they are prepared to work with Rodgers and spend money in January. If the answer to that is that is no - then we should probably start looking for a new manager asap. If the answer is yes, then the question is if Rodgers is the right person to sanction the transfer expenditure on if theres no commitment beyond end of the season.

It’s a hoax. If you can’t see it then you are an appeaser of the Board.

If you think the squad is good enough, then you have no problem with the board.
