What * idiot decided it was a good idea to give him a contract extension so he can hang about like a bad spell? Our scouting and development teams need disbanding and start again with people that know what they are doing.

I still can’t believe we didn’t just accept Bolton’s offer and move him on. He is so far off the level it’s insane he got a new deal.

Should have been punted to Bolton. Nowhere good enough to be a Celtic player.

Unless we're going to be demoted to bottom tier punt in January.

Be better off with Boyle or Murray who would cost * all. Just a wasted chance in the team, we should of got the boy Dalby that was on loan at Dundee United last season. Just a big tall * we can punt the ball to.

I don't think Kenny is the answer and I don't think he did anything when he came on yesterday but you have to laugh at the lynch mob mentality of our support.

Young 22 year old striker comes off the bench at HT at 2-0 down yesterday and doesn't impact the game - gets savaged by the fan base despite having played very little football for Celtic.

Experienced 29 year old striker who has 1 goal from play in 7 games this season, plays the full 90 in a 2-0 defeat, does very little, make a complete * of any chance that comes his way, starts moaning at his team mates when his crosses are overhit and his shots blocked down and you have guys making excuses for him.

It's unbelievable at times, the double standards we have for certain players. Every Celtic player should be judged to the same standard. Some in our support just want to lash the easy target.

I'd be hoping Kenny or Yamada get a proper chance not as Iheanacho has started 5 of the last 7 games and done very little in them. He has less goals from player per 90 than Kenny.

Don't berate the lad for not being good enough, berate the manager for picking him and the board for not giving us better options.

Would have been fine if he had of been sold at the start of the summer. In fairness he did well in pre-season so I could see the argument behind giving him a new contract but only if he was then sent out for a season long loan to another spfl side where he would play every week as clearly that was exactly what he needed. Instead because the board botched the summer window Kenny gets screwed as we have to keep him as cover so he doesn't get the game time he needs and clearly he is nowhere near what we need up front right now either.

If you can’t see that Iheanacho is far superior a footballer than Kenny, you need to seek help.

Just look at most of the discussion on this thread. People being excited. People being proven wrong.

Not once has the Kenny thread been like that and he signed for us about 15 years ago. There’s * all to suggest he’s even good enough to come off the bench for us.

How can you berate BR for chucking him on, that's who he has. he wouldnt start for any side in the league off the top of my head and that's our second choice striker.

The boy is all we have, get behind him. His movement is tremendous. Not the finished article by any means but he put in a right good shift.

Limited and should've scored a couple but can't fault his work rate..

    He literally gave everything tonight..

I think he'll start Sunday as at the very least he's a pest and makes good runs. Just need to hope he can bang them in..

A good lad and applaud his effort but he's just not ever gonna be good enough even for 3rd choice here.

Works hard and has decent movement but not being funny, any semi decent striker helps himself to the match ball at the very least there tonight against a team as pish and wide open as they were.

He probably starts on Sunday now but for me he just doesn’t have the quality to every play regularly here.
