I forgot about him until I see @Moustache post in the other thread..

How can he get no minutes? He can actually play the inverted role, is quick, can carry and break the lines with excellent distribution. Perfect for games against the dross..

Watching Scales today playing pass after pass out, behind players repeatedly or losing it to Dundee players. He's supposedly our ball playing centre half as well...........

The guy could well be not cut out for it here - Ive no clue. But its looking a bit nuts saying Rodgers hes not physically at the level needed to play when you see Tierney barely able to move quicker than a jog

Another total * up of the summer to not get him out on loan when we fully knew he wasn't going to kick a ball for us after Sarrachi came in

I thought in preseason he looked like one of our better players, probably because he was match sharp but when I am watching supposed to be professional footballers struggle to pass a ball 10 yards to each other and not behind them, then it’s hard to see how Inamura couldn’t have a role to play.

He has real on ball quality, was mobile and energetic enough to make an impact. By no means do I think he solves all our problems but I do think he could add something to our slow play from the back to middle of the pitch. Let’s face it if his weakness is defending how much worse can he be than the current lot?

We are so desperate for ideas id even consider narrowing our midfield and make him a double pivot with McGregor in the middle with fullbacks like Saracchi and AJ when hes back offering width out wide.

But nah, Rodgers say not physical enough, Rodgers no play, Rodgers think Yang physical enough, Yang must play, Rodgers think Celtic Honda Civic.... Gucci belt.

Honestly think he’d be great as a sitting mid as well, pace and size to cover plus actually passes the ball forward. Plus Saracchi at left back who can invert or bomb up the left.

Doesn’t take a genius to figure out where our weaknesses are and try to actually give other players a chance.

Top of my list for who I'd like to see in the squad and starting to show Rodgers is actually looking at our weaknesses.

The possession football is killing us as every team we've played against knows they can easily regroup by the time we get the ball forward. Someone to pass it out from the back or crossfield would help shake that up.

I think he’d inject some real freshness. Get him on the ball and let him ping it about.

Where else could of he impressed but pre season? Where he actually looked decent.
The pysicallity comments from Rodgers look even worse now when Tierney doesn't even look like he would be able to catch up to Per Mertesacker * sake.
I know were all clamouring for fresh ideas and players but Inamura actually looks good everytime you watch him

Don't expect to see him until Rodgers goes..

Hopefully he gets a decent loan in Jan so we can have a decent look at him.

His ability to switch play quickly is what is needed now. Cross field passes could land on a 50p and provides that quick change in attack....instead of...Scales to ccv. Ccv to scales. Scales to McGregor.

100% should be in and about the squad. Was probably one off our best players in pre-season then vanishes off the face of the earth when BR took the huff, quite rightly, about our transfer activity.

    Quite rightly?

No its not. Its immature and a complete * to stop a good player playing because he never got a signing he wanted. Modern clubs have footballing departments that make signings. We want to be modern but want a manager that doesnt allow it? Guys being a total *.

The bigger issue is, we don't have a modern football department though.
The guys signing the players for "the club" haven't got a * clue!

I disagree. The signings we've made and sold for huge profit are a testament to that. The actual problem is the money men saying no. Plenty targets have said we never offered enough, targets that went on for big money sell ons in the future. We can obviously spot a player. Its this figure who says no and bids at £1m for £5m players is the problem.

Was quality against Livi, but Rodgers quickly dismissed it as it's only Livi.

How do you know he's a good player? You know * all about him the same as the rest of us in here. You're going off 100 odd minutes of pre-season, up against guys who were half fit (whilst being fully fit himself) and a cameo appearance against Livingston a few weeks back.

Is he better than Tierney or Sarrachi? Very unlikely. So, what? You going to throw him into the squad at the detriment of someone else and another position. We aren't going to have 3 left backs in the squad.
