I thought he was fine until the 70th min or so when he looked a bit knackered and struggled to get back at times

He still is our best defender and his reading of the game is levels above his teammates. Had zero passing options at times, made runs forward with the ball and had zero options so had to pass back

Not even concerned about our defense. The chances last night came from Schmeichel gifting a ball or gifting a goal, or the odd set piece. The attack and midfield are the major worry.

Our best defender but like a lot of other players looks out of shape and struggles as the game goes on,watching him trying to track back last night after he made a mistake was a joke he could barely run.

Love it when he talks about others not knowing football.

Surprised he's no working for some club. He knows the game so well! Yet, here he is, sharing his ideas on a football forum...

Why can't we say he doesn't understand football?

When did you @Hammy89 become a bright spark about football ? :giggle2:

@Agathe17 knows his stuff alright, and he is very, very good with stats to back it all up.

I've blocked Constant a long time ago. But I'm guessing you're referring to him as he's come to Agathe17's defence for talking *.

The guy is an utter idiot.

It’s not a coincidence one always pops up to defend the other. Literally the only support each of them have.

It doesn’t help him when it’s Ralston on one side of him and Scales on the other.

I’m not going to panic until the team is on form again as a whole, then we can make a judgement. But it doesn’t look good.

His marking at corners and set pieces is becoming a real concern for me. Seems to lose his man or gets beat to it quite often. I know he's not the tallest but thought he made up for it with his strength. Just something I have noticed recently. Needs to improve

Aye can’t really blame him, Ralston to right who can only pass back to him or lose it, Scales who passes it straight out play, Kasper behind who passes it straight out or to the opposition and McGregor in front who passes it back to him.

He’s not a ball playing centre back and neither is Scales, expecting them to create our attacks is like going back to Rodgers first time at the end. His confidence looks down along with everyone else around.

I think he looks like another of the group that didn’t expect to still be here this season. Either that or all the injuries have caught up with him. He has been so solid for us but has probably made more mistakes from the start of this season than he did in the previous 4 seasons combined.

Why are you giving him a free pass?

He was honking yesterday, his form has been miles off for a long time. He's not playing to anywhere near an acceptable level, his mistakes are becoming ever more frequent.

Setting the bar low for specific players is madness. He's been a lot worse than Scales has this season but certain fans are reluctant to call it out.
