Hopefully just precautionary. But wild we lose our right winger and one of our main strikers if not.

Squad depth isn't a problem remember, its all down to Brendan getting the most out of who's still here.

Hopefully nothing serious and just needs a rest.

    Wasn’t involved with today’s training

So it’s probably a case of rest and see how he is tomorrow

Daizen Maeda will be out. He felt his hamstring a little bit towards the end of the last game against Motherwell. He went away internationally to see if it would get better, but he obviously didn't play when he was away.

So, he will miss this weekend, and we'll assess it after that

Can’t say am surprised, wondering if he’s been playing through injury for a while.

Rest him up and give him time to find his mojo.

Maybe a glimpse of life without him today, if we don't invest. Even when he's *, that second goal maybe doesn't happen with him there.

Anyone else thinking this injury might stretch until January...probably played his last game for us

Doubt it. He’ll want to impress potential suitors and his attitude has always been exemplary.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has provided an update on the condition of Daizen Maeda.

The attacker missed his side's 2-0 defeat to Dundee at the weekend.

Clark Robertson's 18th-minute opener, combined with Cameron Carter-Vickers' own goal, secured a mammoth victory for Steven Pressley's side.

Maeda wasn't in the squad for the visitors to Dens Park and didn't train with his Celtic teammates this morning.

The Parkhead club face Sturm Graz in Europa League action tomorrow night, and Maeda won't feature.

"Daizen is not available, no," said manager Brendan Rodgers ahead of the match.

"He is suffering stiffness in his lower back and his hamstrings. I think the last game against Motherwell before the international break, he just felt his hamstring, so we've got some positive news on it, but no timeline on it.

"He certainly won't be available for tomorrow, and we'll see where he's at for the weekend."

We really need him for the weekend. Hopefully a few extra days rest and he can go Sunday.

Tomorrow doesn't matter that much, given what state we're in. We really can't handle multiple competitions right now. But we desperately need him on Sunday. I trust his body can recover by then.
