But then Henrik himself has said on many occasions that the best player he played with in any team was Lubo Moravcik. So Lubo must have been 'world class' and a 'great of the game'. Henrik played with Messi, Ronaldinho. Iniesta and Xavi...Christiano Ronaldo, Ibrihimovic, and Tommy Johnson.....so he did share a team with some unbelievable names. Zidane aswell said he completely modelled himself as a player around Moravcik when Zidane was just a teenager and Lubo was destroying Ligue 1 with both feet.

He turned down a big transfer to Marseille the season they won the Champions League....then a lot of that team....like Desailly, Deschamps and Jean Pierre Papin....went to Italy to play for AC Milan.or Juventus. I think Lubo would have ended up at that level and thrived at it.
I do think Lubo could be classes as world class without too much debate

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that Lagerbielke ot even Nawrocki would have been enough to usurp CCV under a different coaching system.

Put in the case of Lagerbielke, he hardly ever seemed to do much wrong, was never outstanding and exciting (if they were than something is seriously wrong at Celtic as a CB shouldn't be a standout). But even though I binned it as a dead rubber at the time, the fact Lagerbielke gets the winning goal for Celtic in a CL against Feyenoord and then is never seen again is just evidence of Rodgers being frankly, a poor man manager, which is why things generally turn to * for him when he sticks around too long

 

Maybe not controversial but for me our players simply aren't fit enough.
I watch other teams and their athleticism and intensity they play at is next level versus ours.

Rodgers is * as a manager and it is why everywhere he goes, he can just about squeeze two seasons out of a team

 

Neither was the other guy Nawrocki. Neither got a fair chance although the defence is the least of our problems
