    That's false you see.

I posted a clip up there of a passage of play that is indicative of how we play last now and there is no bravery on the ball from McGregor. He runs into blocked channels, he plays two passes back to Scales who passed to him and the rest of it was him pointing at other players as he did not want the ball.

That is there in video evidence and completely contradicts you assertion that he shows bravery on the ball, nevermind bravery, it shows that he doesn't even want the ball.

One game, where everyone was atrocious.. against years of bravery on the ball excelling when it matters most.

I'll tell you what's false, your opinion of our Captains character.

Pure drivel and I can say that with absolute certainty.

That's one example. It happens routinely.

My opinion of our captains shirking of his responsibilities is backed up pretty much every game he has played of late where he hangs our centre halves out to dry and pins all the pressure on them to make the plays from the back.

Can we question his character tonight? He doesn't want the ball and he doesn't want to take the responsibility back there.

Maybe we could play a system that doesnt require him to play this role that was never his strong point

He shouldn't be required to play full stop.. a multitude of others could fulfil his role of pointing and passing backwards.

Not like he's a particularly "inspiring" captain either.

Then dont play him. Hes continually picked to play in a role that at this point beggars belief a top class manager could fail to see is completely ineffective.

That goal sums up everything about where we are.
Slow, hesitant and simply not fully committed to the cause.
    It's unacceptable.

Sick of the sight of him to be honest.

A once great player but now a scared, gutless shadow his former self.

A massive drop off in his performances. As mentioned above. Saved by being the captain.

Said in the match thread, he's done.
Scared, doesn't lead, doesn't create. Backwards passes, light jogs, no enegery to move a few yards to create space.
He needs taken out the team and used as a sub for the forseable.

Have you changed your opinion on his leadership? Do you accept now that running away from the ball and pointing at others is passing the buck? Do you now accept that this has become the trade mark of his game.
