Better communication from the board will fix it

Oh wait that’s right they’ll put out another embarrassing statement

I think you could put a very credible argument forward that Hearts have a better forward line than us currently. Regardless of how much players cost in fees or wages it isn't a barometer of how good or bad they are

    That’s just not true though.

The board needs hounded out. They’re a disgrace and have killed us time and time again.

But Rodgers also carries some blame for our performances this season. Four 0-0s already this season is nothing short of a joke.

Maybe. But if you believe Rodgers he gives the ok for every signing and he oked bringing in Shin for more than Hearts spent on Braga. He cant even get on the bench. And we could have signed Shankland instead of Idah, or even for free at the end of last season.

I disagree as regards spending. It is a very accurate barometer of how good players are or should be. Selling players for 10-25m and replacing them with 1-3m players is why we are getting worse rather than better. Its why the richest teams generally win stuff. It is why I dont except struggling against SPFL clubs because we only spent 20m or so on players as a valid excuse.

I get that but we barely have a forward line to score the goals we're relying on guys not good enough, over the hill or playing out of position. Our new main man up front was filming himself in a public park just a couple of weeks ago and he absolutely could come good the signs are promising but the only reason he is here is because of Rodgers. Rodgers showed in the first half of last season what he can do when he's backed regardless of what anyone thinks of Trusty and Engles since January it's been downhill

If we believe everything Rodgers says then the board should be getting praised for bleeding green and white and doing all they can for the club. It's fairly obvious he wanted no part of Shin or Inamura you could tell from the second they signed.

I'm saying the opposite of what you assume my issue is not that we didn't spend tens of millions I'm saying spending that doesn't guarantee you're getting a world beater or a better than we have in the building already like we've seen with Trusty and Engles.

Our squad is undeniably worse than last season and is * thin on quality particularly in attacking areas add that on to still needing an actual proper holding midfielder to free up others it's a recipe for games like today when teams sit in it isn't the first and certainly will not be the last I fear we are in for a proper slog through until January

The forward line isn’t good enough. But Rodgers isn’t helping by making stupid substitutions and refusing to change the shape.

His style of football is stale. We have no creativity because we play safe all the time.

Hearts have scored double the number of goals we have. Motherwell, Dundee United, Hibs and Killie have scored more. Livi have the same number.

We’ve spent * knows how much on midfielders the last couple of years. Yet not an ounce of creativity between them. We’re * from corners. Never look like threatening from a free kick. Very rarely seem to score from shots outside the box because they’re all too scared to lose possession.

    * the board, aye. But Rodgers’ football is * dross.

Personally not a fan of silent protests. Dreading the Braga game

I think the subs made today were with Thursday in mind it shouldn't have happened though as we need to prioritise the league this season over everything else as it's not a given. We were flying playing Rodgers style when we had players he wanted and players who wanted to be here and I'm also not convinced we have the players to change the style we don't even have the players to play the style the manager wants to play.

If Rodgers went tomorrow and someone else came in they would encounter the exact same issues I don't think there is a glaring fix for our lack of goals it's just that the options we have aren't good enough

Would rather have a pie protest and aim for those * in the directors box and make sure the * have to get their suits cleaned and block the car park so they can't get to their fancy motors so more direct action is needed .

Will the board not be loving this silent protest. Ideal for them. They'll be thinking... the GB silent for half the game, yes please. Should have had them squirming in their seats instead, opportunity missed imo.

To all the guys saying being silent isn't backing the team well they were backed in SC final all the games against rangers and against Borat fc and it still didn't help

I think people need to stop being afraid of how the players might feel. If we are to effectively protest, the players are going to know. They might be indifferent, they might not, but we shouldn't be scared to protest as loudly as we possibly can.

    Fav Celtic Player:
    Kyogo
Players who generally couldn't give a * about our long-term future.

Take Maeda for example, tells club he wants out in February and all of a sudden he becomes a superstar as he's trying to get himself a move then takes the huff when he doesn't get it and doesn't try a leg despite picking up £20k a week.

Why the * should we prioritise their feelings over ours feelings for how the club is being run when they constantly show their only priority is money?

For me I'm not concerned about how the players are feeling about this. I think they are well aware this isn't directed at them. It's all about how the board members feel & unfortunately fans sitting on their hands being silent isn't going to be of any discomfort to them.
