People looking at him need their head checked. We've wasted one of the best managers we are likely to get. Baffling.

Why is he immune to criticism?

Nobody is saying he's the main culprit, nobody is saying they want him gone or sacked. The main focus is still fully on our board

What people are saying is this style of football isn't good enough. We've had 4 0-0 draws this season, two of which were to a team that has a budget similar to St Johnstone.

We failed to score in the first half against Livingston and St Mirren. It took a last minute penalty to beat Kilmarnock and a late goal to beat St Mirren at home and he's, yet again, let an abysmal hun side be the better team against us. A hun side Hearts comfortably beat a few weeks later at Ibrox.

I get he doesn't have much at his disposal, but he's completely ostracised Yamada, Pusey and Inamura and he doesn't seem to try anything else when things arent going our way.

Heaven knows he's had little help from the board but Rodgers isn't totally blameless here. Throughout his career he seems to have a 2yr period at a club before it goes stale. He's coached the life out of the team and we are so predictable most of us can say what we're about to do before we do it.

Brendan Rodgers has insisted he was pleased with Celtic's performance against Hibernian, despite being held to a stalemate at Parkhead.

The Celtic manager didn't have any complaints with the endeavour of his squad as they were held to a goalless draw in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic now sit second in the table with Hearts two points clear after their win over Falkirk at Tynecastle.

"I was happy with the performance," said Rodgers on BBC. "Every metric in the game, I think, we were really dominant.

"We've had a couple of nil-nils in the qualification games where we never really threatened, but I thought today our football was really good.

"We just lacked that killer instinct in the box."

He continued: "From a performance perspective, I can't be too displeased; we just needed that goal to make the breakthrough.

"We had big chances, I don't think there is any doubt about that.

"It was just that final touch we were lacking. We had 26 attempts in the box but couldn't find the back of the net, and when we did it was offside."

Asked whether he would disagree with criticisms over recruitment being used as a reason for the dropped points, Rodgers added: "Well, I can't affect it now, so it's irrelevant.

"My focus is on the group of players that are here who are full of endeavour and hard work.

"The players that are here, we have to make the best with them."

Ive probably been up there with Rodgers biggest supporter on here for a long time. But he has managed to score as many goals as Livi this season. Hearts have managed almost twice as many. That isnt to mention not scoring in over 200 minutes against Kairat and losing to Aberdeen in cup final with 3 shots on target over 120 minutes.

That has to be on him. Im not accepting that should accept this because the board are incompetent when it comes to signing players.

    Away and don't talk pish

We could have went and spent £50m this summer and he's still have McGregor playing sideways passes.
His tactics are * turgid boring *.

See this attitude, its the definition of * nonsense. Look at the strikers we have in the squad and look at our transfer dealings. Brendan has a choice of utter * to play up front, yet he's to blame for the lack of goals? Makes perfect sense.

He is not immune to criticism. It's not some wild coincidence we scored 112 goals (3 goals a game) in the league last season then sold Kyogo, Kuhn, Idah, Jota out for a year and then ballsed up a move for Maeda on the last day and are now averaging 1.3 goals a game.

Almost like that might impact the team's attacking fluency.

He's not perfect but goodness me be real.

The guy has managed us with one arm tied behind his back, but second period is the same as the first, played good stuff first season that tapered off the second. Third dull as *

Hibs ended playing 5 at the back so why the * we still playing with one striker and no plan B and he could have went with 2 strikers up front in the last 20 minutes and mix it up a bit

Many goals did Daizen score as a striker last season?

Why does Rodgers need to have a squad with a £10m striker in it to get the better of Hibs?

A top manager would be getting you through these kinds of games regardless.

Complaints regarding lack of investment isn't because we fear how we can cope with games against Hibs, Kilmarnock, and Kairat Almaty ffs. It's supposed to be about not strengthening and trying to operate at the level we should in the Champions League. It's about us actively choosing not to be the best we can be on the park.

Not because it should leave us struggling to score a * goal from open play against atrocious teams.

Irrelevant point. We're now playing an unhappy Daizen as he wanted away and we made a mess of the window. Most of his goals and assists came from the left wing anyway last year. Board have * him over and we've not got half the player as a consequence. He's never a striker and I don't class him as one.

Aye thats not how football works mate, Real Madrid are favourites in 95% of games but don't win 95% of games.

Another 1 to add to the growing list.

Huns, cup final, St Mirren, St Johnstone, Almaty.
When teams play 5 at the back, our boring, sideways pish football isn't capable of breaking them down.

Far too easy to play against a coach who hasn't changed tactics once in 2 and a bit season's.

Absolutely * awful to watch just like we were in his 3rd season the last time too

So nothing is on the manager then for failing to beat teams that cost about a 20th of our squad? If that?

We can barely score a goal for * sake and you're on here saying you can't look at the manager. Can't look at the manager who actively chose to take off our two best players at a time when we were threatening.

He put the bow on that point for Hibs today.

    A lot.

How many of them were provided by Kuhn and/or Jota?

You'd need to a special breed of cabbage to actually hold this opinion. Wearing a Celtic shirt doesn't magically mean you have divine right to beat Hibs. Outside Iheanacho who looks ok we don't have a decent striker in the squad.
