Marcelo Saracchi

Best thing I can say about him is that he's like the kind of full-back we continuously come up against in Europe.

So so tenacious and has this aggressive terrier like energy to his game. Looks an absolute nuisance to try and beat and isn't afraid to take one for the team.

Really like what I'm seeing of him. Gives us exactly what we need when we take Tierney off. Not sure if he should be number 1. Clearly an understandable desire to build Tierney up.

 

I like what I have seen of him so far, he seems a capable player and competent defender. A bit over eager at times but he knows what he is doing.

 

Good player and was interesting to hear Hart saying he's brought a lot of energy to the dressing room and he's a big character.

Seems well worth keeping based on what we've seen so far if we can get a deal done.

 

I know; I meant it in an exasperated way more than actually questioning our board.

 

As someone else said in relation to this, his club may not have wanted to let him go at this stage - would be nice (based on what we’ve seen so far) if he did become available in the summer though.

 

Looks a better fit for our style than Tierney does.

Did very well, put in some top quality balls into the box that deserved someone being able to apply the finish. Has continued to impress and look to make the most of every opportunity he gets to be on the pitch.

Really pleased with him, had the fear we'd go out and sign an overpriced donkey that could barely pass a ball after Rodgers made clear his intentions of binning Inamura out, that would have just been peak Celtic this summer, but he's looking good.

 

Bright spark. Hope he gets plenty of game time.

 

He's a good wee player who gives everything..

 

There could be an argument to start him ahead of KT at the moment

 

Had a good game, one of the few that had any positivity and aggression about him, always available and ready to drive forward.
