    Done well.

But, he really needs more energy around him. He's not got the legs any more to deal with teams breaking at this level on his own. More often that not it is a late challenge, or he doesn't get there at all.

It's how they got the corner for their equalizer. Again, he's not to blame, it's the recruitment.

Easily. Particularly off the ball he was very good, closing down and getting well stuck into his 50/50s.

Proper captains performance that second half. Them couple of bursts forward he made are what we’ve been missing from him for months. Defensively still needs more help in these games but bar that first half he was great

Much more like himself in the second half, tenacious and a driving force.

Still playing too negatively, for me.

    Midfield is a huge issue.

Agreed. Need to see more of that though. Is playing backwards and sideways too much for me. I would also say he needs to be taken out a bit more now. At least in some domestic games I would think Bernardo is well good enough to play the 6 and give McGregor some rests. Come the summer we need to start thinking about McGregor succession planning in the 6 role as well IMHO.

Thought he was moving the ball really quick today. Still there’s a lot of occasions when CCV and Scales are on the ball and he’s just behind his man pointing away. Needs to drop and give them an option to either receive the ball or create an opening for someone else

Just loves passing it sideways and backwards and telling others to do the same.

Time to let go with this one I’m afraid.

Have you ever considered these are tactical instructions?

Then if the rumours are true that he kicks off everytime he doesn’t play :fear: then he needs to direct that same energy towards the manager and tell him the tactics are * garbage

    They clearly aren't.
Rogers consistently criticises the team for being passive, not proactive or positive enough, the need to be braver etc.

Now, I'm not saying Rogers shouldn't be doing more to increase confidence and remove the fear that's holding much of our team back - he should be, it's his feckin job and it needs to be improved, especially from our captain.

He can't just keep saying the players should be doing better if he's also not creating the right culture, positive environment and improving skills/technique to be more positive.

But for sure they aren't being sent out to be negative, passive or slow.
