Imo far more harm than good. Prior to lawwell we operated fairly well in the transfer market, it got worse and worse, he disappears for a season and we get out * together. He gets his claws back in and we revert

Hope this signal the absolute end of lawwel. He has no place here

Reminds me of a labour politician who's been on the gravy train for too long. Maybe he's forgot his roots and what being a Celtic man is all about. Fat cats are only interested in the money coming in

Him and his idiot son wanted Maresca as manager and were overruled by Desmond. So you can imagine his nose was firmly out of joint with us bringing back the guy he had a very public falling out with the last time.

Him and his son then done all the could to sabotage his comeback by providing him with nothing but absolute * duds in his 1st window back.
Rodgers ability and Ange's squad combined with the Huns annual implosion ment he still won the title even with 1 hand essentially tied behind his back.
He then forced Lawwell to sack his own son so you can just imagine how seething the * was at that. This window was his revenge for that.

It's time Desmond grew a set of balls and backed the manager he's went out of his way to hire twice and finally remove the fat * who's been holding us back the past 20 years

It’s at the point now where I think he’s the common denominator. I think the way Rodgers talks about Dermot and Nicholson, he’s tried to defend them because he knows himself Lawwell is the main issue.

I’d be willing to give us a chance is Peter was the only one that left.

Issue is that the majority shareholders obviously want him in place because he's a hit on the financial side of things.

They need to move away from that and remember that we're a football club first and foremost.

He did a lot for this club but like any position like this when it's been easy street last 10 years ego has started to grow, power hungry and wants absolute control. It's not just him I'm sure there's a few in there that need to go

After Rodgers comments today I actually have a small hope he might stay. Clearly what he is getting at it that he needs Lawwell to go for him to consider staying.

Gives Desmond a real opportunity to get everyone back onside if he is brave enough to get rid of Lawwell. All Rodgers heat seems squarely aimed at Lawwell. Has to go.

He has always been a slimy *. Sneaked away after Covid and then slithered his way back soon after. Remember folk saying about him being the best we could hope for when he was CEO. It was utter *. This parasite has been a cancer on our club. The sooner he * off, the better.

Apart from supporting the team...this should be all about Lawwell on Sunday.

Don't need to worry about the rest as they will fall on their sword naturally.

Who will our moustachioed golfing billionaire back?

Depends hugely on whether he gives a * about what the fans think or not.
On the face of it, should be an easy call, a sacrificial lamb or 3 at board level to bring stability.
But will his love of the profit Peter 'brings in' swing it?
    Brendan's just a manager who's leaving anyway?

I don't think Desmond will want the hassle and wants his legacy to be loved by the fans, so it should be bye bye Peter and Michael.
Or maybe he'll just walk away himself from all of us ungrateful fans.
    Interesting times.

Whilst I agree, I also still think Nicholson is wildly out his depth. And Desmond isn't anywhere near active enough.

I'd be fine with Desmond staying out of it if he had put a proper footballing team in place that knew what they were doing. But he hasn't. Things have gone wrong here and he now needs to step in.

Sack Lawwell. Bring in guys that Rodgers will work with and get Nicholson out his role as CEO and bring someone in who's comfortable with public speaking for starters and who has a footballing brain.

That'd be a huge start and would also take heat off Desmond himself.
