Not a fan of Rodgers but reading through what he’s said there fair * to him.

 

I've gone from loving him to hating him then to forgiving him and liking him. I have no issue with him moving on now as the board have been utter useless.

 

I think so. I've never heard him state it so definitively. At the time he had said that it was a great opportunity to go down south again... I can't believe the board have shafted him yet again

Within a well run club that kind of damning statement he'd be in Nuno Espirito territory and sacked - but the current idiots running the club know it's true and if they sacked him they would be committing corporate suicide.

In any regular job if You felt that people above were trying to undermine and put obstacles in your way to prevent You from doing Your job properly and to make You look stupid then You would have every right to say how it is in front of your works HR dept and explain what those people were doing to You to prevent You from doing the job to the best of your ability.

My take on his comments:

Desmond - genuinely doesnt have a problem with him or see him as problem

McKay & Nicholson - nice guys, work hard but not very good at their jobs and ultimately part of the problem

Lawell - the primary problem, cant stand him

 

As much as i would like it journalists never give up sources or else they get nothing else pretty sure one went to court over it years ago

 

Lawwell must be going ape * about being labelled a coward, indirectly to the media.

This can’t be right. Lawwell is just the chairman of the board. Isn’t he? Just a token position with no influence.
