I'm not sure if they did VIP packages for the CL last season. But for season ticket holders the standard 4 match package last year came to £184.

I think it will be similar, but I think CL would have been more.

Not as expensive as I thought it would be, Huns is £168 by comparison. I think apart from Roma there isn't anything interesting like an Forest, Villa, Porto, Lyon or Feyenoord. Nor an obvious walk over team from pot 4, which may have brought interest.

£35 per game…away tae * money grabbing *! Half empty stadium for all the games bar Roma more than likely.

We should all email them in the same tone as their statement.

“Due to new financial responsibility rules I cannot buy this package..” or whatever

The prices for Celtic's home Europa League fixtures have been revealed – and it's understood it's the cheapest four-match package in Britain so far.

The Hoops get their Euro league phase campaign started away to Red Star Belgrade in two weeks' time before their first home tie against Braga on Thursday, October 2.

It wasn't exactly where they wanted to be when they set off on their Champions Leaguequalifying campaign last month but fans only need to look back to blockbuster Parkhead wins over Real Betis, Lille and RB Leipzig in this competition to see it's no scant consolation prize.

Now punters have learned how much it will cost them for this year's four home ties with Braga, Sturm Graz, Roma and Utrecht.

The four-match package available to season ticket holders for those games costs £140 – an average of £35 per match.

That's understood to be the cheapest in the UK so far, notably lower than rivals Rangers whose prices range from £42-£47 for their four home ties individually. Aston Villa’s package, meanwhile, is £144 while Nottingham Forest’s come in at £170.

Thing is, non season ticket holders will just buy up the tickets others don't take. Nothing against them for doing that but the board dont suffer. They get all the money in and a full house.

The best thing would be for fans to still buy tickets and dont show up. Would be terrible publicity but I completely understand why most wouldn't want to do this. I wouldn't if im being honest but that's what would give max exposure to the situation.

September is a notoriously difficult time to buy tickets
