We'd have hundreds of legends if he is classed as one. An icon I would say.

I voted yes for this apparently. I don’t agree with myself on that now.

He’s the level just below Legend, a Celtic great is what I call that category, although I know people who have Celtic Great as the tier above Legend. The labels are murky.

He isn’t in that very top tier, the Lions, Henrik, McGrain and Tommy Burns are in that top tier as beyond everything. Tommy because he’s Tommy Burns because he isn’t that as a player but he’s there because he’s just the embodiment of what I love about Celtic.

Then below that we have Broony’s, Rogic, Calmac, Dalglish, McStay… guys that will get called Celtic Legend off the press generally. Rogic though, he has some absolute top tier Legend moments. The goal for Invincible Treble will be remembered 100 years from now.

No doubt about it that goal for the invincible treble will live long in the memory certainly one of the greatest moments in my lifetime supporting Celtic.

I voted yes but would now disagree with that as well, which in itself tells you how heart and head battle one another when it comes to Celtic and Celtic players.

For me legend of the club is the biggest level you can give a player. Henrik is obviously a legend but does rogic belong in that category, absolutely not for me.

Great player, don't get me twisted. But let's not throw the word legend around so easily. That is surely kept for that elite level above

My favourite player in the modern era by some distance and criminally underrated still.

Nah, not even close. I think the benchmark for legendary status is far too low

    Naw :56::56::56:

Has produced some unquestionably legendary moments (see cup final winner epic goal, and scoring a worldie at ibrox whilst simultaneously breaking hun bates' ankle in the same motion).

But legend? Deary me....lasted probably slightly more 90min games than Paddy McCourt.

A lot more than a Cult hero. Cult heroes are not loved by everyone and not known for being the best player.

Tam done so much for us and is widely loved.

There's not a specific number of goals or medals that determines whether someone's a Celtic legend. Also Celtic legend, Celtic great, Celtic icon, they all mean the same thing really.

The real test is 50 years from now when you're sitting in front of the fireplace telling your grandkids old Celtic stories, will any of them be about big Tam Rogic.

I think he'll feature in a couple at least. That's legend status in my book.

Celtic great then? I guess time will tell how he's looked upon by those not lucky enough to watch him in the flesh.

Just a sublime player to watch.

He’s right in between cult hero and legend status, any player that gives you life long memories from a goal will always be a great.

That goal for the treble will cement him in that category and not far off legend at all.

Scored one of the best goals in our history to secure an Invincible Treble. That's legendary, for me.
