Don't think we'll ever have that unity that we had under Ange again for a long time.

That's not me putting Rodgers down in any way, but those two seasons under Ange are my favourite seasons supporting Celtic, the only thing that was missing was our european performances (and I think he'd have cracked that the third season)

Yeah, I've never felt that connected to a manager before. Hadn't felt that way supporting the club in general since Larsson.

Good luck to their defense, absolute * show at the back with him in charge.

Was entertaining at the start but defensively naive.

Did like big Ange, but couldnt lace MO as a manager, nor his team who'd probably be pumping them like our Euro defeats under him.

Will be interesting to see if he evolve his tactics. His defensive side is comedy gold.

For connection to a manager convo, he’s in a club of 3 for me. Tommy, MON and him.

And that for me nostalgia wise feels wrong for me to say still, but I * loved him. Was glued to every interview.

And that’s not even the football he brought. We were desperately * lucky Howe knocked us back. Infact, we were lucky with a lot of knock backs round then. CCV, Jota, O’Riley and Ange himself happened because of knock backs.

Jota was Mitoma I’d not complain bout that one. Howe I rate but wouldn’t trade for Ange. CCV was Moritz Jenz and O’Riley was Riley * McGhee. One of my favourite times ever as a fan

Being tipped up to take over at Forest - who just sacked Nuno Espírito Santo. I wonder if Rodgers is on the list as well

He'd be crazy to go work for that idiot if an owner/chairman.

Expectations would be instant top 6 or sack - simply not possible with current squad - they had a good one off year but it's mid table at best this season.

Ange should wait for a bigger / better job.
Although a nice big pay off in 6 months could be a good retirement plan!

It'll be cinema with the big man back in that league, especially under that owner. He knows how disrespected he gets down there and will be at them from the get go. I'll be tuning into his press conferences, that's for sure.

He shouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole. They just sacked a manager who massively exceeded expectations (to an absolutely mental extent) last season just 3 games into the new season! Not even 3 defeats (not that that would make it normal!), just a single defeat.

I actually like Nottingham Forest as a club; but I'm sorry, if your manager can take you (a bottom-half club with mostly bottom-half players apart from Gibbs-White) and get you into Europe and then you sack him 3 games into the new season after a single defeat, then you are not good enough for Ange under your current owner.

I'd be very surprised if Forrest go for him, they're a team that's set up to play the total opposite from Angeball

It's really hard to understand this decision. I think he could have a lot of success in Germany or with a club like Brighton, but it's hard to see this working out for him. I don't think they have the players to play his way and he won't even have a preseason to get his ideas across.

The only positive I can see from this is the opportunity for us to bring him home next summer.

Lawwell --> Levy --> Marinakis... it's like he's on a special mission to find Europe's most difficult chairman to work with. :giggle1:
