We as a fan base need to organise an in person protest at the gates of Celtic Park and a complete boycott of the Europa League. What is the best way to set the wheels in motion on these 2 points do you think?

Facebook event could be set up to organise a protest date and get people signed up

A petition could be started as a “vote of no confidence” against the board ?

What’s the best way to encourage everyone to boycott the Europa league?

Celtic board would have you think we are more hamstring than Newcastle and the English PSR rules.

Keep in mind, we don't have our own regulations anyway.

What are we, one of the top ten most profitable/well off clubs on Europe with money at the bank, yet we are pleading * FFP poverty and acting like we are working on the breadline.

This just shows they don’t give a flying * about the fans.

They never have and never will, what a crock of * that statement is.

The only thing that will change will when they * leave.

Not convinced a boycott is the way to go.. it only hurts the Team. And would have little affect.

That statement is basically a full house on the bingo card. You could have predicted almost every word. If I asked ChatGPT to make a statement and I gave it the right prompt, that’s exactly what it would spit out.

Good. I’m glad they done it. It’s united the fanbase more than I’ve seen in my * lifetime.

The quickest way to get across to the biggest audience surely has to be through the GB and the podcasts/fan media. The latter essentially being the fanzines of today.

I don't go to games anymore but I'd be through in a shot if something can be organised.

It needs a leader that is able to effectively kick-start it. I ain't that sadly.

Boycotting is the only power we have as a fan base mate. Nobody wants to boycott Celtic games. We want to support the team.

What other way is there to send a clear message that we won’t stand for this * any more?

Every game, needs to be a protest outside the stadium before/after every home game.

Make these parasites walk out the stadium to the sound of the anger of the fans.
    Every. Single. Game.

The problem is that none of the popular fan podcasts etc are keen to spearhead anything. Fair play to them all for standing behind the statement made but we need a spearhead for it. The GB is probably the best bet for that. They could call a protest and a total boycott and ask that all supporters follow their lead.

Incredible the nearly seven figure salary a year CEO of this club can’t be arsed putting his name to this statement or even doing a video to deliver it. Sooner we’re rid of this full leadership structure the better.

It would have an effect to an extent. Not a financial one but it’s going to be all over the press and it forces the club to talk to supporters again, if it happens continuously.

Unfortunately, the team is second to a far larger cause right now. This is war between us and the board and it’s a war we need to win.

So firstly, this doesn't explain why they wait to the last minute and secondly the processes seems to be a joke. DOF needs to be in place and give him the authority of a budget and let him and the manager sign players that they require. Our processes is so tedious. Low balling, waiting to the last minute and going through multiple tiers of approval to get a deal done. Still stinks of Lawwell, Desmond and Nicholson procrastinating.

    Aye I agree.

Your issue there is a lot of fans don't like the GB. You'd just have to hope that this time it's gone too far.

We still have to show our support to the Team and make sure that any protests will not impact on them, they need our support more than ever now.

We need to continue to unite as fanbase, the joint letter was a start.

I would rather there was organised demonstrations and then vocal protest during the game..

Also, for every fan that goes regularly who doesn't attend other fans will buy there tickets for the European matches, so it won't hurt them financially.

Its an understandable option, but I dont believe it will be that affective.. even if it did reduce the turnout, they wouldn't care.. probably see it as justification for having £80m in the bank..

Years ago, I could understand (although not agree) with that.

    However, today, not so.

Literally sitting with more than a seasons worth of revenue at bank (£53m was our lowest during the deilia years) and that in itself is enough to cover use a couple seasons of real boycotting.

The board will let the squad take the hit initially, but that'll just highlight these parasites for what they truly are.
They'd rather the squad was depleted and killed off rather than invest in it, just so they can make their buck.

This season is only gonna go downhill anyway.

I can't see how it possibly can be successful, now. Rodgers will be asked about this for the next 8 months. I can't see him staying.

If anything, his pride has been absolutely machine gunned this past 3 months.
