Does anyone know if the guys not away for International dutyy have a break or do they have time training, with Rodgers being able to work with a smaller squad?

The time the break allows we better be using it, , get the panic signings settled more. And Iheanacho closer to an option before the next window

    Next manager is Damian Duff

Whether it’s before the season ends we shall have to see. If Rodgers sticks it out then Duff will be paraded on 1st of June 2026.

Far too spiky a character for the board. Left his last role for slaughtering his players as a pub team.

Him donning a disguise to avoid a touchline ban, being surprised to get caught for if is brilliant but:56:

His interview for chinning our board wouldn’t be as vague and carefully picked out words like BR and Ange before him. He’d be sacked the summer window :56:

No bullshit about him. Did he not get caught chanting rebs or something as well? Board would do a runner from him. They’ll ask Broony, with Maloney and Kennedy as coaches because they’ll tell Broony no Whittaker with him.

He’ll be asked I’m sure of that. The only thing that gives me hope in that situation is I also think he’d say no. Knows he has lots to learn, why he’d be offered and knows the goodwill for him from the fans and why he’d be asked, won’t stop the fans reaction. The board will ask thinking well they love Scott Brown.

After Broony says no, good chance they’ll forget that bit they want and Desmond will try for Roy Keane again. Probably knocked back again.

If Ange still is out of work, we’ll have about 5 months of baseless links he’ll return

Aye I didn’t get the anger towards him when he left to be honest. Every fan was raging at the way we had conducted our transfer business, just like we are again now. I was gutted when he left, but I pinned the blame on the board for his exit as they showed no backing.

I was raging but not because he left, he tried to guy everything not just his own staff he brought with him, and I thought he gave no * about welfare of players as long as he could limp along until he got an offer.

But from the McGinn * onwards I said he would leave. So did most *. Then got surprised about it

Just reflecting on Brendan's 'if it's just to maintain, I'm not the manager for Celtic'

How is that one looking? Terminado?:39:

Another disgruntled key employee to add to the list including our POTY.
It's only not the worst window, it's worst state the club has been in for a decade.

Folk say "we need a director of football" or whatever... why? Rodgers wouldn't play any of the "director of football" signings. He wants to be all power of everything. Thats not modern football. Petulant we child.

The options we’re likely to go for give me the fear, other than Ange who won’t be coming back:

    Damien Duff
    Roy Keane
    Robbie Keane
    Scott Brown
    John Kennedy
    Shaun Maloney
    Neil Lennon

I am half kidding but I do also half believe our next manager is in that list

Gotta be Maloney from that list and I don't say that with excitement.

Duff will have bigger ambitions and isn't an idiot. He will realise the issues at the club even when he was here.
The two Keanes won't touch us, specially not Roy, burnt him already the other one will have an ego bigger than his worth.
Brown is tough to call, but I think he will know what the clubs like to deal with and will have his own passion in management not to get bogged down with us - unless he sees us as a quick two year step to down south.
Kennedy, the board aren't that daft to try that again
    Lennon, see above.

Maloney, ticks enough boxes, young enough, experienced, worked with high profile Martinez, knows the club without likely knowing too much, one they'll likely have already been having in mind and could even have sold him half on the idea when he took the pointless Pathway job

They've some additional time off. Not sure how much but definitely not business as usual.

Nah, will definitely be a progressive move. Someone well outside the usual circles.

My money's on Owen Coyle :fear:

I'm saying it more in view of him being away soon enough.
Next appointment should be DoF and head coach

Aye, that "leaked" insider information piece is pretty damning on those inside the club. Not that I think Rodgers is a complete innocent in this but some of the nonsense in that piece is embarrassing.
