I’d have been very happy with this, if we signed him alongside a guy like Dolberg. We needed two strikers in, we didn’t get the main, exciting one in.

And because of that I’m needing to keep chinning myself it’s not Iheanacho’s fault, I’d have been happy if it wasn’t just him and the manner of how we embarassed ourselves particularly the last 3 days of the window.

All of that, it’s not his fault. Get behind the player, it could be brilliant. Either way, the ire should be directed far away from him, to the guys responsible

We’re hilariously incompetent, just realised for years we’ve not really had Africans. We sign three an AFCON season, when the squad was desperately threadbare to cover that fact.

I've no even watched any clips or commented on him I've been that scunnered. But he is looking sharp, looks pretty skillful and determined. Working away in preparation for what's to come. Great to see.

Same here, we are all * off with how the disaster of a transfer window turned out. But we are underestimating how good this guy is on his day. Not his fault he was a panic signing. I have a good feeling about this one just for the fact he has already been written off & most people are expecting him to flop. He's clearly very technical & fits straight into a Rodgers system so time will tell.

 

We'll see.

But u know many seem to wish for him to score none.

You can but when it could be 4/5/6 or more games, we wouldn’t want to, we’d be playing catch up with an insane schedule.

I think when it was the Asia Cup, it could have been 4 weeks of games or so. I think we done one though? Not sure but that rings a bell

 

I only remember him when he was at Leicester and he was a cracking player. If we can get him anywhere near that level he'll be a great signing, especially on a free.

 

I was considering a cheeky hun game postponement unless were well ahead. Mean jota would or should have played a few games aswel. Take it you can't just pick and chose what games?

Looks sharp in that clip. His signing wasn't "ideal" shall we say after the Dolberg links and the circumstances which led to him being signed. But if he comes in and bangs the goals in then happy days.

I don't think anyone of us wants him to fail here.

Iheanacho won’t get a call up. Nigerias quality up top is crazy atm.

tounekti didn’t get a call up recently for Tunisia so I’d imagine will have to do a lot this season to get one now.

(can’t actually remember the third but I’d imagine if it’s any of the better quality nations he won’t get a game)
