    Hopefully just a precaution.

Shouldn't be near that Killie pitch anyway even if he's 100% fit.

Hopefully a precaution, but regardless it's difficult to believe he'll ever get his body back to the level needed. Just looks absolutely *.

Should have been told to retire from International football before signing any contract here, to be honest.

I'd be completely fine with him retiring from international football.

A few weeks off will do him no harm but wont be surprised if he’s been playing through an injury already given how far off it he’s been.

To prolong his career at club level his body probably needs him to do that really.

Robertson expected to be competing for the left-back slot with Celtic ace Kieran Tierney ahead of the Denmark game - but the Hoops star withdrew with an injury on Thursday.

Tierney has yet to play 90 minutes this term since returning to Parkhead.

But Robertson says the former Arsenal man WILL return stronger and get back to his best for club and country.

He said: “KT still has a big future for Scotland, 100 percent. He’s a fantastic player and character.

“It’s just unfortunate that he’s turned up for camp, had a scan and it has ruled him out of both games.

“It’s disappointing for him and the squad because he’s grown into a massive part of our team.

It’s great to see him back for Celtic playing every week. The next step for KT is to play 90 minutes and he knows that.

“He’s getting closer. This is a contact injury so it’s not like he’s had a setback.

“He’s just been in Kazakhstan and played in an Old Firm game - and we know how tasty those games are.

The timing is unfortunate but it won’t set him back for too long and hopefully in October he’ll be back in a Scotland jersey.”

Yet to complete 90 minutes for us and now injured out of Scotland call up, KT should try to complete 90 minutes before accepting another call up, if ever

I was just about to post this, he really should prioritize his club over country given the fact he struggles with his fitness.

It's a contact injury that will heal up quick. He'll be fine for our next game.

Thing is its been evident he really isn't fine though. Just think that long term retiring from internationals makes sense.

Its hard enough to play for club and country over a long season even for non injury prone players.

Not saying he shouldn't retire from international football, just that there's no need to worry too much about this injury.

I don’t think it’s right to expect him to retire. I get why people suggest it but maybe he views Scotland as a huge honour. I know if it was me, I would.

However, if taking a couple of months out to sort out any issues he had would help, he really should take that time. I’m not meaning specifically right now if he’s injured but if his body is generally quite * he should see some experts and try to sort it.
