Other than being paid a wedge most of us will never see?

All up for a bit of sympathy for him, and agree the club's treated him like *, but he's a professional, he should get on with it and just make sure he has an exit sorted for January if need be.

Doesn't seem like the sort to do anything other than get on with it.

The way we have acted with him and Idah will hinder us bringing players in here also. It’s a * horrible look to be honest, and just another way in which this board are holding back the club. “World class in everything we do.”

In terms of outgoings, you have to feel for Yang, who missed out on a move to Birmingham City. The Korean had travelled down south for medical tests before being hauled back to Glasgow with £3m left on the table.
The Blues are understood to have been furious with Celtic’s handling of the situation. However, they arguably had the last laugh when they landed Paddy Roberts on loan from Sunderland instead.

If our employer did that and threw you under the bus, majority would think * you and do the absolute bare minimum.

I'm not saying he's not been treated badly but how does doing what you suggest benefit him or us?

He also wasn't thrown under the bus, that's something different.

    Weird one this

You’ve all seen the Isak situation play out, where it appears he has dictated he moves on to benefit his career prospects

Yang could easily feel dejected, frustrated and allow his emotions to detract him.

However, surely that would be detrimental to his future prospects and earnings.

Realistically Birmingham won’t come back, as we’ve been a pain to deal with. So he needs to double down and attract interest from other clubs if he wants to prolong his career in Europe.

I am glad Yang is still here, he is what he is, decent off the bench back up winger. I would have brought him for last 20 minutes against Huns Sunday, at least he would have had a run at tavpen.

If Yang does an Isak we’ll be delighted tbf.

Might not be Birmingham but its clear theres plenty Championship interest if he puts some graft in till January.

Yang Hyun-jun had been linked with Birmingham for a sustained period at the end of the summer transfer window, with the South Korean international seeming like he was set to leave Celtic, but yet he remains at the Scottish club.

Now, we have been given an insight into why the Yang Hyun-jun deal fell through and why Birmingham opted for Patrick Roberts.

It had appeared for a sustained period of time that Birmingham would have been bringing the South Korean international into the club; however, at the last minute this did not happen.

As per information from our chief football correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis understands Birmingham City were not willing to wait for Celtic to conclude their business.

He said: “I believe that Birmingham pulled out of that one because they just weren’t willing to wait.

Obviously Celtic did get Tounetki in, the Norwegian, but that was very late.

“So, I think the option for Birmingham was to bring Roberts in, and they couldn’t afford to wait and then be left with no options, so I think they went with Roberts just because it was there to be done and they see him as being just as good.”
