The opening game of the season we were 3-0 at HT against Ross County and he never even got brought on. He brought on Yang and Forrest and put Maeda up front.

 

Ultimately no, it's probably a decision between club and player along with input from rodgers. The problem now is we are all on here getting disgruntled with each other, when we should be focusing our anger towards the club

Not sure about most fans but I always thought Iwata just didn't get a chance. Thought it was a real mistake selling him. He has attributes we miss and our other options don't have.

Quite liked Oh too, particularly his first season, but could understand why he got less game time with Idah's performances.

Even if you believe the rumour, at no point does it suggest he was ever asked to play against amateurs.

Sure it was the B team but when Rodger's has openly said the guy hasn't had any game time pre season, it would make sense to get a competitive game under his belt in the Challenge Cup against a similar standard of team that the first team are regularly drawn against in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup anyway, regardless of whether he's a Man City player or not.

Literally a pointless signing

 

Not our player but feel sorry for the lad. He could have been loaned out to another club that would have given him game time.

 

Yeah if this was the plan he should have been sent back last week to get another loan rather than be used as a *. * about with young guys careers is bad form

 

My view is there are limited spaces in the Europa squad. Rodgers had to make cuts and this was the obvious one. It's not Rodgers ruining someone's career, he's gone with what he knows.

Wasn't worth sending back because there could be injuries.

We are probably doing Man City a favour in taking him. As I don't see any other reason, we have Murray who has been really good so far . So I don't get this at all.
