If the manager didn't fancy the players then it's his call.

Statement or not. It's in the board for singing them

Yangs motivation could be questionable given hes been jerked around by the club and probably sees no future here.

Hopefully he will be using that to put in performances to secure himself another move rather than downing tools.

Shin will be a country mile ahead of Kenny in the pecking order by November.

Played well in friendlies, not trusted to play competitive matches. Criticised for his defensive ability publicly, then good performance v Livi was belittled and played down. Signed a journeyman full back to rotate with Tierney as opposed to showing some faith in our actual player who had so far shown very good technical ability.

We have signed an experienced left back who has played at a very good level to be backup to Tierney. Absolutely nothing wrong with that whatsoever. Inamura should have probably been loaned out. That would have been the best thing for him. Why do you think his performance against Livingston was played down or belittled?

I don't want to derail the thread about Inamura, but the manager said it's a game that'd suit him as he'd have little defending to do. Rather than praise what he did do, he commented on something he didn't do.

That's my opinion so may as well leave it there as we'll never agree on anything potentially negative regarding Rodgers.

He’ll be lucky to get the chance now.

No chance Rodgers will let that happen, then he'd be made to look a fool. He's going to use shin as a last resort or to rest Kenny/maeda ilhenacho .

This is what happens when an uninterested auld * with a minority ownership overrides those running the club and appoints managers

Honestly couldn't give a * about who's in or who's not in the squad as it's obvious that the club don't give a * about the competition and perhaps this season's domestic competitions

Big reason we were so competitive in Europe last year was pace/athleticism. Kuhn, Maeda, Kyogo, AJ. Helped both on the break and for staying with other teams’ wingers. Shin would have been a big plus in that department. I don’t miss the days of guys like Stokes or Griffiths trying to pressure/get behind defenders in Europe; always looked like boys against men. Felt like we could hurt teams last year.
