Iheanacho or Shin is neither here nor there for me. We’ve only got 2 right wingers so can understand having Yang. Kenny has European experience and has scored goals in the Conference League, so again, I get it.

Why do you think Inamura has been treated unfairly?

He hasn’t had a shot on target I don’t think. What’s he shown? Kenny has shown the most of any striker in any game this season. The Newcastle friendly.

I'd probably have put Shin over Kenny. But I'd have Yang over Shin.

The club bulked up the squad with foreign players, people were always going to miss out.

I'm more worried about the lack of loans for people not in the squad.

There's only so many places available for the EL, it's not as though he's deliberately tried to offend the players left out. Only Shin would maybe make the cut were fans picking the squad and even then it would hardly be a unanimous decision.

shin should be in over a complete unknown like ilhenacho. The * not played over 1500 minutes a season for years....the whole point of shin is his pressing and pace . Especially in Europe where we play on the break

I think some people are going a bit overboard on leaving Shin and Inamura.

Shin was probably a 50/50 with Kenny. Rodgers maybe opted for Kenny on his record in Europe last season but it's strange when Kenny didn't make the squad last weekend.

Inamura more understandable. Don't think JSP is at all surprising. Murray, Scales and Trusty all had good pre seasons and all started the season off well so hard see where he's getting his chance from. I said a few weeks back that he will be back with City in January similar as to what happened with Nat Philips.

The ability to press and hassle defenders, and the physicality to cope with them. Barring 60 mins against vs Livingston in which he actually played well he hasn’t had a start. He should have vs Falkirk, but again, bizarrely left out.

Laughable that you cite the Newcastle game in favour of Kenny when he was quite literally gifted a goal by Pope and didn’t do much in the way of anything else.

Kenny I’m fine with having in the squad as a back up, Iheanacho should be nowhere near it.

Kenny only striker to score this season isn't he?
Shin has done nothing for me, he barely scored in Japan this season either. I don't rate Kenny but I understand picking him.

Club needs to be getting players from Scotland to be 3rd choice striker and on each wing. No point in bulking up on foreign players.

If you didn’t think Kenny done much against Newcastle, then you must have been watching a different game. Forget his goal as it was a howler, he linked the game very well and done exactly what you have just said Shin should be included for.

The Falkirk game has been our best showing this season, so trying to dig out the team selection for that game is odd.

Shin has shown enough, that he could get us up the pitch in Europe. Don't get that decision.

After we signed him yesterday, he was always getting included. It’s desperate that we are even having to bring him in though.

We are going to get pumped in Europe this season.

I would rather write it off completely this year to concentrate on the league.

The home grown thing I get but Yang over Shin seems more than a bit odd

I get folk wanting Shin over Iheanacho. I personally don’t think it makes much difference. Over Kenny though I find a bit strange.

Maybe the plan was to send him out on loan. If we had actually bothered our * to sign a striker or two he probably would have.
