When I look at the squad, it isn't actually.

He was never getting in over Scales or Trusty.

An utterly pointless signing. Been in the door for weeks and still not ready.

Plays on the same side as Murray who Rodgers clearly rates.

Won’t get in ahead of CCV or Scales.

What the * was the point?

What is the point in this signing? Was there someone meant to leave that didn’t? Possibly Trusty but he got injured?

We probably wasted weeks trying to get this guy in the door as well. Cause well you know Celtic clearly can’t multitask. what a waste of everybody’s time

he was most definitely brought in for the champions league, might have thought a bid for trusty or ccv could come in also

i reckon the board room got quite giddy and full of themselves with us now regularly getting big big money for players

and were expecting more to leave

theres also the possibility lawell is sabotaging the ceo to get him sacked, so he gets the job again and the big paycheck that comes with it ???

The problem is more the damage Rodgers is doing for relations with man city and any future Japanese players. * me iwata would be a nailed on starter in the team at the moment. Oh as well. You really have to question this guy's judgement, he's only caring about his own ego and reputation.

He did treat Oh terribly, under Ange that half a season Ange brought him on every game really 30 minutes to go and he scored a few goals, got the odd start and scored.

Rodgers came in and was bringing him on with 4 minutes to go, 7 minutes to go, 10 minutes to go. Actively trying to sabotage him, scared he'd score any goals cause he wanted to punt him :56:

Only started him in 2 League games, away to Ross County and away to Kilmarnock where he probably thought we'd slip up. Two other games he played the most time he brought him on at HT away to Atletico when we were down to 10 men and being pumped and away to Hearts in a game were were 2-0 down at HT.

Mate , you are spot on about him using players as scapegoats. It's quite easy to see really, he thinks he's playing 4D chess

Most fans were pretty unanimous about Oh and Iwata not being good enough.

The fact they have gone on to do OK elsewhere doesn't mean we should romanticise what they could have brought.

Oh, fair enough didn't get a huge chance but it was the same under Ange as well. Except he got about 15-20 min extra on his sub appearances.

The fact both might get more game time now says more about our determination to go backwards and not replace quality rather than their own ability imo. Oh isn't even a starter for his new side.

I'd say the same of Inamura and Yamada, both should have started the Falkirk game but he probably thought I can't have they two * playing well in this and then play them at home to Livingston as well, * will want them in the team. I'll give them 1 game then go back to binning them, i'll play them against Livingston incase we don't win then everycunt will blame them and that will get rid of them.

Telling also when he dropped Yamada again for the Kairat game even though he was very lively and dangerous against Livingston and most fans would have started him.

I always thought he did the same to Lagerbielke, that Feyenoord game he scored the winner, mind Rodgers brought him on before Phillips even though Phillips was playing all the time. Cause he probably thought im not putting my guy on here incase they score a winner and they blame this big dumpling they know I wanted, im going to put that * on and that'll end him then Lagerbielke scored the winner and at the weekend game after got dropped from the squad with Phillips still on the bench :56:

Oh's minutes under Ange and Rodgers were remarkably similar.

Oh just went out of the picture under Rodgers when Idah arrived, up until then he was used in more or less the same manner as Ange had.

That's fair enough mate , I've never slated them.on here personally and was gutted when they left. The fact they've went on to perform generally well is more an indicator that Rodgers isn't the best at judging player ability. Would never say they were world beaters when they were here but certainly knew they had enough to contribute and potentially improve.
