Is it not really concerning that Osmand isn't even able to make the Welsh u21 squad?

 

Unfortunately the answer IMHO is we should never have signed him in the first place. He is just the latest in a long history of punts that were a waste of time. Considering what an massive * show this summer transfer window has been the signing of Osmand is a mere footnote but the lad should never have been signed.

 

He might just be really far off quality wise as it stands..

Poor from us though. Do something with him..

The big worry for me as soon as he was linked in the summer was the fact that he didn't even have a Wikipedia page. He's never made a pro appearance and he's turning 20 in a few weeks time but it's the fact that's never even been called up to the Wales u21 side that's the biggest red flag for me. Surely if he's anyways rated in Wales he should be making those squads at this stage of his career.

I would say he is Scottish Championship level right now.

 

I don't think that overly matters as he hadn't played for anyone first team..

It's just that we brought him in, Rodgers said we'd decide and we've decided nothing because he's been letdown from above..

He was clearly rated by Fulham and his PL2 stats and performances showed that..

Looked ok in some games. You're right though, probably top end championship is where he's at just now. Thought he would likely be a bit above that but no sure..

Not having a wikipedia page isn’t a tell of being a good footballer or not.

Fulham have an excellent youth system but it’s obvious he’s been a late bloomer. He was apparently a 10 until the last two seasons he’s played Striker and has impressed in the 18’s and was put into the 21’s. This has all happened quick and he rejected a contract at Fulham.

Not being capped by Wales at 21’s is strange but it isn’t his fault.

He looks like he’s got great attributes. He’s definitely above Scottish Championship level. EPL U21 teams would slap them about.
