Leverkusen would be a fantastic job for him.
The right level, the right sort of league and the right level of expectations as well.

Could do very well there and win a cup or Europe and even push for the league, while raising his stock and much bigger jobs look at him again.

Much better fit and for me bigger club than Spurs for him.

Leverkusen is definitely the type of job for Ange.

Squad is maybe a bit all over the place with all the sales, question marks on where they headed, the usual type of challenge he'd love to take on.

    Happy for him.

I remember watching an interview where he spoke of how no European side would give him a chance. Came here and then to Spurs, now he'd get most jobs around the place. 60 now so a bit later than he'd have hoped but still got plenty in him.

I actually wouldnt be shocked however if the leverkusen job doesn't materialise and some how in the next couple of weeks instead, hilariously ended up at Man Utd

Absolutely loved the big guy, broke my heart when he left. Think he’d have kicked up a bigger stink well before Brendan did about lack of signings

If he ends up at Leverkusen I could see him doing a really good job there as others have said above. On the face of it Leverkusen looks like it would be a really good fit for him.

It wouldn't shock me at all if he went there and won a title.

Was surprised Leverkusen went for ten Hag over him to be honest. They seemed a good fit for Ange. Think he will do well there.

You know why we were a far stronger club under the big man? We were all united. He had his critics when it came to our approach in Europe but virtually every tim loved the man, how he represented the club, his principles and outlook on football and even wider issues. An open book in pressers I could listen to all day.

Many people raised concerns when news of Rodgers coming back broke that it would potentially divide the fan base, and while it did happen, be did well last season to mend many bridges. It was a risky gamble by the club, so the way it's panned out with the board is a strange one.

But some people just can't relate to Rodgers, whether he's a success or not, he can be egotistical, petty and obnoxious at times. Overly diplomatic in the media and you never quite see his true nature, so hard to warm to him.

Some reckon we'll struggle to get a coach as good as Rodgers again when he's gone, well I think we'll just as likely struggle to get a guy who gets the fans and club united again like Ange did.

We were far stronger domestically but a mess in europe under him. That is obviously the case now as well when Rodgers don't care anymore, so overall Ange was the better for me as he have 100% untill the end.

Yeh I agree this is a very valid point. He took the job on in a far worse situation and made it work from day 1 to winning the last game. 5 trophies in 2 seasons because of that.

Then * off ASAP, even that he did 100% :56:

Apart from Tommy obviously, Ange is my favourite manager since I became a Celtic fan. I think he just pips MON for me. I'd have him back in a second.

In fairness to Rodgers, although he's nowhere near being one of my favourite managers, I truly believe he's the best manager we've had here in my lifetime.
