They need to come up and explain the logic behind not meeting the asking price for Breum but then going over the 5 million initial asking price on Tounekti who was clearly further down the list.

There is no logic and they'll never explain it but they should

All the evidence is there, in regard cashing in on assets to distort the bank balance and the overall value of the club.

I hope he does go and the sooner the better. Not sure who else he has acting in concert with him but its long been clear that while Lawwell in particular needs to go and is a major problem as well ultimately Desmond for all intents and purposes is in charge so the embarrassment that we are reduced to now this summer is on him. Nicholson and others that supposedly do the direct transfer negotiations may be utterly incompetent and should resign or be replaced sure but ultimately Desmond is in charge so this * show is on him. What is also crystal clear is that Desmond has zero ambition for Celtic as a club either on or off the field beyond what we are. There is no short or long term plan either for the team on the field to progress nor for the club off the field such as stadium and or commercial developments. For Celtic to grow and improve Desmond needs to go and be replaced with new investment from people who actually have some ambition for Celtic and actual plans to show us and explain to us how we get there.

 

Most likely thats exactly what they will do. Hopefully the Celtic trust can be successful at mobilizing those 15-20% of shares and start to get after Desmond and his proxies on the board.

 

Difficulty is you only have to look across the city to see the type of people who have the necessary finances to take over.

From outside Fenway sports group appear to have invested significantly in their team and stadium. But then again, just travel east 30 miles and United is a * show.

This does feel like the most united the fans have been after a window against the board.

In prior years, the board have managed to somewhat salvage the window near the death, and with no CL qualifiers prior there's been no large fallout since Lennon's final season. We've also beat the huns the last 3 seasons in the first game. I remember thinking last seasons window was a 6/10, when in reality they left if majorly late again but we got away with it as we had no qualifiers.

This season is different, we got knocked out the CL, failed in a deadline day bid for a player that would have made a big difference and sold Idah under the managers nose.

I think the only thing stopping protests is Rangers are absolutely * again. If the huns had appointed even a semi competent manager I think they'd be favourites for the title. Russell Martin is essentially our boards only saving grace this season, and if the huns wise up and sack him early, I think we could be in trouble.

 

Why are we not on that list??? I demand answers
