Telling you lads, if he gets fit and his head right we’ll all be clambering for him to take the year extension.

That’s the ‘if’ though because he’s at least a month away from that point based on recent evidence.

He's gonna have a hard time displacing Bamford from the treatment table.

    Brilliant news!

Now let’s get Colin Kazim-Richards and Carlton Cole re-signed pronto.

Maybe throw in Miku and Lassad to complete the ensemble.

Every other source is saying 11pm?

Regardless you’d imagine he’s been included.

Carlton Cole and Kazim-richards levels of desperate this one.

The only silver lining, there will be so little expectation on him it’s hard to see how it can go too badly wrong.

Waited right until the end of the window for this.

... This was all part of the plan.

... No, it wasn't a panic move where we had to ask our manager to bail us out after we'd * him over

    ... Again.

The Iheanacho of 4/5 years ago was a cracking player. Rodgers managed him them. Got to cross everything in the hope he's the man to get him firing again.

Hope to * he’s a success cos I can’t be arsed with more negativity towards players. Aim it at the board.

At least its not a stupidly long contract, which was my original worry.

Oh well, he's here now, good luck to him.

Not as bad as it looks, not particularly great either.
Last season 6 goal involvements over the equivalent of 15 games
Season before 9 goal involvement over 12.5 games
Before that 13 goal involvement in 16 games
Before that 17 goal involvements over just under 25 games

Forgive the delusion, but despite the total shitshow we're in, I'm hopeful on this.

Again, it's an almighty stretch, but Iheanacho was very, very good when he first broke through, sort of flew under the radar because Rashford broke through at the same time and took the headlines. He's been a shambles in the last year or 2 but he was useful for a good Leicester team before that.

You have to really, really try your best to be optimistic on him, but the reality is that he's here now, and because of the mess we're in, we'll need to rely on him at times.

If Iheanacho gave us the numbers they did, it’s a success.
