Naw. I think he will be on the left.

I think Balikwisha will be switched right, he can play there comfortably.

I'd prefer him on the right to Balikwisha, at least he is a dribbler and quick and will take people on. If its Balikwisha than we'd be taking away the chance of him cutting in to shoot for no real reason as he won't take people on either then will be on his left foot trying to play in Ralston on the overlap.

I feel so sorry for this guy. Honestly he deserved better than this. Comments aren’t about him, purely our * window. He’s coming in to the worst Celtic team in recent years.
    Poor guy

I don’t know much about him, but I’m struggling to believe he’s a 5 million pound player. Same with Balikwisha. Feels like we’ve been rinsed again, just like with Idah and just like with Engels due to zero planning and the subsequent panicking and fumbling around at the last second.

To say we need both or our new wingers to hit the ground running would be quite the understatement. I know absolutely nothing about Tounekti so all I can do is hope that we might have actually got something right this window in signing him and Balikwhisha.

Notice how most players we sign say they have been aware of the interest for some time.

    World class monitoring.

    Welcome Sebastian mate

3 wingers now seb, maeda and Michel we gonna persist with maeda upfront then ? I thought with idah gone and shins decent 2nd half showing we would get to see him more.

I actually think Tounekti will pleasantly surprise a lot of us, think he is worth the £5.2M going by his video alone.
Looks even stronger and better than Orjasaeter to me.

Can he play on the right?

I’d try Maeda on the right maybe to accommodate this guy if not. Might help Maeda to stop firing crosses in to row Z with his weak foot.

Hammarby chief Mikael Hjelmberg admits Celtic's deadline day offer for Sebastian Tounekti was too good to turn down.

The Hoops finally landed Tunisia international Tounekti, 23, late on Monday night after having multiple bids rebuffed by the Swedes.

Celts sanctioned a £5.5million deal to prize Tounekti away from Hammarby - just eight months after his £1m arrival from Haugesund.

The Allsvenskan outfit's sporting director Hjelmberg previously insisted Hammarby were not open to doing business for the winger.

But the Swedish top-flight side changed their mind as Celtic chiefs put forward a bid that they couldn't refuse - and Tounekti expressed his desire to move to Glasgow.

Hjelmberg revealed: "Our ambition has always been to keep Sebastian during the summer window, but the final offer Celtic made was so lucrative that we valued the financial aspect in relation to what we would lose in terms of sport.

With the options we have in our offensive positions, as well as Sebastian's own will, the assessment is that the best thing for Hammarby is to accept Celtic's offer.

He has taken huge steps since he joined us last winter, and it is a good mark for the development environment we have in our operations, and an equally good mark for our scouting operations that we identified and brought in a player who has delivered at such a high level from the start.

We wish Sebastian the best of luck."

He looks happy to be here at least.

As angry as I still am he's going to be really important. We need some instant performances but he seems a confident guy.

Like the look of him. Him and Jota on the wings will be cool.
