    Liam Delap was injured on Saturday and Chelsea recalled Marc Guiu from Sunderland. Sunderland then went and bought a striker from Ajax as a replacement and Ajax gazumped us for Dolberg. If we had done the negotiation properly and again not tried to save 10 quid we could have had Dolberg in on Friday or at least been aware he was not interested. Shambles.

    We did we not in the end but by then the player set his eyes on Ajax
    If only we offered what they wanted on the Friday and not the Saturday

    Either way get it up him if Ajax has fell through aswell looks like we were the only ones offering close to what anderlecht wanted

    Seems like Ajax messing around to be honest and the player aswell hoping for a return

    The rumor mill was we agreed fee then dropped the fee on the proposed deal sheet by 600k

    Looks like Ajax lowballing them more than we did
