Still need to support the team, not boycot.
So many other ways to protest that would be more effective too.

You'll be lucky if I watch them on telly. I know how it'll go and I'm not interested.

Have already emailed and asked to be removed from HCTS. Not getting another penny out of me this season.

No chance this would work. So many people jump at the chance for a single ticket. Would never be able to get enough support to join the protest

Walk out after the 67 minute, like the club abandoned it's European ambition and just wants to live off the Lion's reputation...

Massive roar, followed by silent departure

    • Organised protest / rally ahead of a home game. Wait for board to arrive and let them know how we feel.
    • Walk outs in less critical matches when it doesn't impact the team
    • Banners / songs at every game
I'm sure others have more creative approaches.
Boycotting games only hurts the players and team

Aye they can * off with it. Said after the exit to * Borat Fc that I wasn’t paying £120 for the tickets.

It was only a temporary solution in the end but petrol bombing their cars seems to work

I couldn't give a toss about the Europa league, and thats before I knew we'd be signing * all today. Our squad is dross and I have no interest in watching us flounder even more in Europe this year.

How does it hurt the team and players? Who gives a flying * about the EL?

These players will be long gone while we are stuck with Desmond and his bunch of thieving spoofers..

these are professional footballers earning milions im sure they will cope and understand the situation..

Keep giving them money and we will be in the same situation forever...

PS. Im not singling you out by the way, im just sick of the awww the poor team how will they cope nonsense. There needs to be short term pain for long term gain.. simple

If we need to impact the team on a short term basis then so be it. After what they've done this summer, they being the board, and that statement, anyone paying £170 odd quid or whatever it'll be is nuts. For me. And it'll prove once again to them that they have the support over a barrell due to our love for the club.

Nobody WANTS to boycott ofcourse. But it might be needed to send a message.

Even everything minus the actual matches would hit home. (I would say matches too but its not realistic.)
Adidas wouldn't be happy that they're not making any money from merch.
Food contractor not making a penny on match days would hurt too.

This is it, ultimately it's pocket change compared to the ST money every season but it needs to be thought of as death by 40-50 thousand cuts. They still bank on fans buying pies and hot dogs at half time, tops and scarves in the store, windfall tickets, programs etc.
The loss of that over the next few months' home games will show them the fans are serious about holding back their investment, if nothing else.

Boycotting merch would hit hard and Adidas would rage at the board. Boycotting games would make the players mad.

One last thing about backing the team and I'll stop ranting:56:

They had our full support against that dross from Kazakhstan and barely layed a glove on them, absolutely pathetic performance, maybe they need to learn our support isnt unconditional too.
