The way this board have handled this transfer window is nothing short of diabolical. They need chased out the club immediately.
This window will have a catastrophic impact on so many levels.
The quality of player and lack of squad building in appropriate positions will obviously have an impact on the success on the pitch this season.
I think the real impact will be seen in future windows due to the horrible treatment of our current players. Leaving Idah and Yang in limbo and being told they are surplus to requirements then not sanctioning their moves is deplorable on a human element. Players will think twice about wanting to join our club if this is the way they are treated. Those two players now look likely to remain at the club. How are they going to now become relied upon if they’ve already mentally checked out? Not even started on Welsh, Tilio and other players. It’s just a horrible mess constructed by those at the top. They have no clear plan.
Please provide us loyal fans with a product that befits the money you generate from us. Because this is not it.

Should gift the board a little private jet holiday after their hard work in this transfer window and prigozhin them.

 

They've coasted on luck for years imo.

They failed to get Howe in so they checked which managers were available via the City Group link and got Ange. They deserve no credit for what the big man achieved and for scouting him out, they don't go out and get him without that convenient link.

The huns form in Europe guaranteed us 3 years of CL football, so they always had an excuse for leaving the signings until late.

Lastly, they've relied on the huns hiring utter clowns as their manager and being almost as badly run. If they appointed even a semi serious manager this season we'd be in serious trouble, and we may still be if they sack Martin early.

I still think we'll win the league this season but the squad will be an even bigger mess next year. Rodgers gone, our loan signings gone and the likes of Hatate and Maeda will 100% be gone. The likes of CCV and Johnston may leave too.

Problem is, I honestly think it'll take the huns actually winning the league again for change to happen.

Only person who can chase them out is Desmond and he won't do it. If he wanted to he could have forced Lawell out for good. He let him come back and bring his useless son with him.

 

The Huns won the league during Covid and they sacked the CEO who attempted some sort of change.

 

I totally appreciate what supporting Celtic and going to games is all about as I've been doing it for 60 odd years now but I think there comes a time when even the most loyal fans must take some sort of stance to show their disapproval at the mismanagement of our club. Yes, it'll hurt but, if we genuinely love our club, then we know that the current regime can't be allowed to destroy our club from within.

 

We're like a car that's permanently in 2nd gear. We have so much more potential than this. We've just got crap drivers.

 

Aye big Dom McKay did seem like he was trying to change things, no idea if it was true or not but going ahead with the Juranovic deal against the wishes of others always makes smile.

I don't think Desmond will leave anytime soon, but the likes of Nicholson, Chris Mckay and Lawwell need to go ASAP.

We have followed the same 'plan/strategy' for * knows how long and very rarely steer away from it yet through all the managers and heads of recruitment there is only one thing constant at the club through the time.


Nothing will change until there is proper change at boardroom level be it a CEO with actual experience in football or getting a proper DoF (Which they would never do). Even thinking back to the Howe debacle the rumour was the hold up was due to Howe wanting to pick his DoF to come in with him which obviously never happened we then appointed Ange and the DoF chat was quickly forgotten about.
