We got very lucky the American crowd over there went with Russell Martin I think.

Had they got anyone competent and given them the same financial backing then we would be in bother.

Nothing changes. Lawwel left after the covid season but was back a year later. They may put some visual up to change something but it won't be major change. I think Tisdale gets the sack, but anybody else coming in gets the same shoestring budget. Change will only come if Desmond wants it and I don't think he cares.

Very very lucky. They are not worse than us imo squad-wise. If they went for Knutsen or some * like that they would breeze the league.

They will still win it IF they get a bit better.

Let's be honest, often we've benefited from their incompetence. Sacking GVB, giving Beale the job, us both having * summer 23 windows, giving mad Phil the job and now Martin.

Terrifying to think where we'd be without their absolute clown show. Huns being badly run doesn't mean they are running us well. We'd have another 50m in the bank if they hand't mismanaged several CL qualifiers. They are holding us back.

I really feel for any signing who comes in. They could be a decent signing but they will come into negativity as the window as a whole won't be good enough.

I think Shin and Maeda are our strikers for the season. That's pretty depressing. I also think Yang and Forrest will be third and fourth choice wingers.

Forrest can play up top. We may well need to rely on that this season

I’m sure the club will learn from this and won’t leave it so late next transfer window :fear: This season is going to be so very very *.

With no exaggeration, is this one of the worst squads we’ve ever had in living memory?

The Barnes era was woeful but we had Viduka, Lambert, Lubo, Burley, McNamara

Mowbray had the likes of McGeady, Samaras, Maloney

Everyone mentions times in the mid 90s but we still had top class players like Collins, McStay, Nicholas, McAvennie, Di Canio, Thom, Cadete, van Hooijdonk

    Deila’s squad was pretty stinking.

There’s just no real glimmers of hope. Even the ones who’ve had top careers like Schmeichel and McGregor are clearly on the decline.

We’ve no dynamism or creativity. We are so one paced it’s frightening.

And to add to that we are as rich as we have ever been. Utterly shocking

*just on the 90’s though McAvennie was totally done when he came back, Charlie was also a shadow of what he once was

There seriously has to be some sort of organised campaign to boycott Europa League tickets.

How long are fans just gonna allow this * to happen and continue to just keep throwing money into the pot

Most of us are signed up to the Home Ticket Scheme so probably a nonstarter

I dont know how we can be so desperate for recruitments up front yet the huns have got two strikers in the last couple of days. The sell Igmane and get in a replacement immediately. We have Idah twiddling his thumbs not sure what club he will be playing for tomo.

A month ago Id have prob turned my nose up at them but with 7 hours left til window shuts Id take them.

Its nowhere near as difficult as they like to make out - especially when we are not even targeting highly sought after talent.

Because we leave this to our CEO who is a puppet for Lawwell. Micromanagers and bean counters who don't get football and never will.

With Jota out, Kyogo gone and Kuhn then youd say this is the most impotent attacking Celtic sides we've seen. Add in Idah and Yang who a lot already didn't rate, we're really at bare bones and in a dire state..
