    I thought we had contacted them a couple of weeks ago? We would have known the ballpark figures for transfer and wages surely?

    The board and whoever has anything to do with our transfers need hung, drawn and quartered.

    £8m and circa £35k a week

    Quick checks taking all of 35seconds finds that information out - how a professional football club cant do it within a week or two is baffling. But we are Celtic.

    Knowing the fee is likely around £8m, you surely just come in at £5m + addons to £6.5m to test the water, second be increase by a million, third bid likely hitting the mark in negotiations.
    Wage wise, you know he's been on 50k previously and took a cut to £35k to join anderletch, so you simply come in and match it off the bat and sweeten the move with some bonuses.

    Player and his agent will know by their own due diligence the likelyhood of Celtic paying more than £35k is low, but they can test the water with 40k and see if we stretch to 37k, again sweetner with a bonus or additional help in the move/relocation should see it done.

    These deals really do not need to be dragged out as badly as we do, if the club does a bare basic level of research and act reasonable in negotiations - and also dont need to check in with about 8 different board members to get a sign off for a deal.
