We could have probably used Inamura against Kairat and the huns. Of course, not tested defensively and he may or may not have folded but could have done with someone of his passing ability in there.

 

One of our biggest problem areas for me is in the middle of the park… it desperately needs a physical midfielder that has defensive qualities and a creative midfielder like that Vanaken at Brugge.


The midfield needs a serious refresh, just as much as the wingers etc.

 

It's not my problem that your argument is brainless. There's literally no point discussing anything with you when you're making sweeping statements about setting standards, when anyone who pays attention can see McGregor has set the highest standards for us, for years. Embarrassed for you.

We’d be better off at the moment without a Scottish player in the team. Make of that what you will.

 

I don't give a * if folk criticise McGregor, when he plays poorly like today he deserves some. I just think your initial point about him being an ineffective captain is nonsense.

Well we actually went from a season of turmoil and failure before McGregor took over. He's had 9 trophies in 4 seasons as captain, which is excellent and if you think quadruple trebles should be the benchmark your at it. Those were anomalous in history of football.

Absolutely mental that you're giving Rangers credit more than our manager or Captain for our title wins btw. McGregor was fantastic under Ange, infact he was very good last season too.

Broony was part of a good few failed qualifying campaigns, Lenny was too, as was Boyd and Lambert. It's disappointing but par for the course really.

Overall he's helped regain and continue our dominance in a period where it looked like the huns were edging us back. He's won more trophies per season than anyone else who's been captain.

The guy is a serial winner. Just because he's not at.his best right now doesn't erase that.
